I guess Obama knew this was fit to air in June - no clear-cut win setups (although I guess Balance was the easiest today, a toss-up where the obvious frickin' wrong one was picked) and L7 didn't seem to be the worst, but I'm probably assuming too much there) and ugly gameplay yet again in Stack (not that she was going to win on 1 digit anywhere with that price). On top of that, that first half had to be the downright worst this season lineup-wise.

I'm considering yesterday the finale at this point :P , although it was nice to see red seats one last time, no MIC MIC MIC yelling problems, and the max 1.95 in SD1.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

It was OK to see the lost pre-empted show, but it just seems to be brutal to watch...............

THE BAD NEWS:

Freeze Frame: I really thought the right price was $8975.

OWP: Christopher got duped by the accessories.

L7: Tough break for Valerie............but in hindsight, she was playing for a Camaro (Good one, Mike :rollold:)

Balance Game: When Jonathan picked the $1000 and $2000 bags, I knew he wasn't gonna get that living room.

Stack The Deck: Another tough break for Margot. 'Nuff said................

THE GOOD NEWS:

Secret X: Even though it was a easy set-up, Christopher from the 2nd half won the trip to Hong Kong and his showcase as well! Seems reasonable for him to win IMHO, since he prevented this from being a skunked show.

After this, no more new shows...........at least until July 4th.

I guess it was cool to see that again, now that Mike yanked that off the show.

The only game setup for a win today was secret X. Everything else were forced losses. Good thing Secret X saved the show.
pepe! It took us all summer to clean out all the skunk stink from seasons 36, 37, 38, 39, and 40!!!

Yeah, let's just say yesterday was the season finale. I've known this was going to be a bad show for 8 months (back when bing accidentally uploaded the wrong clips and one of them was L7 from today - uh, yeah) and it did not disappoint. I mean, seriously, hard setups everywhere, and could L7, Stack and Balance have been played any worse? Just a terrible early season show that really highlighted how above average the final month of this season was. Here's hoping we have more episodes like yesterday and less like today in S41. It was nice to see CNAOS though :)

Timings:
Freeze Frame (4) - 2:53
One Wrong Price (3.5) - 3:40
Lucky $even (4.5) - 4:12
Secret X (4.5) - 4:19
Balance Game (4) - 3:46
Stack The Deck (5.5) - 5:56
Total (26): 24:46

Thank goodness Secret X was won.  IMO, Margot deserved to lose Stack The Deck because she wasted her free number; it was obvious that the first number was 2!    :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Horrible show today, IMHO.

Any particular reason why this episode wasn't aired before today, considering that it was recorded last July?

This show was originally supposed to air the day of the Breast Cancer Awareness show, with said show airing the day before. The Breast Cancer Awareness show got pre-empted entirely, so it was moved to the day THIS show was supposed to air, and moving this show to the end of the season.

Well, no wonder they wanted to air the Breast Cancer Awareness show back then instead of this mess.

An evil Freeze Frame setup... not too many of those lately; this game's been much nicer most of the season.

OWP was also evil.

And what kind of a lineup is Freezy-OWP-L7 anyways?! Anyways, it's unusual for someone to underprice the Camaro...

Well, nice to see that, amidst all those forced-win Secret X setups earlier this season with two easy SPs and the X in the middle, they at least had this one with the X on top and a deceptive water bottle.

I thought the Ashley bedroom set was the $5K price. Why did they have to set up an Ashley bedroom semi-hard like that, anyways?

And that was an ugly Stack the Deck. Most contestants who have asked for the 1st number at least have something of an excuse that they don't know if it's a sub-$20K or $20K+ car. She had no such excuse; that was just not thinking things through. Granted, with those brutal SPs, her chances of winning this game were just shot right from the start.

And yeah, when the most interesting part of a show is someone getting the maximum $1.95 on a SCSD, that's... not a good show.

Shame this show had multiple pricing game losses-what were the costentants  thinking? Lucky the constant playing Secret X did ein.
