I will fix it, hold on. Had to change something on my hosting.

Adam thinks we're still playing FPG. :-(
Wait, we're not?  I haven't been much attention, so I thought I just skipped over any FPG posts.  Is it just a later start, is it always started later in the season, is there some special exception, what's the story behind this?

Eh, it was cool to see our former Price contestant's daughter win her game; too bad we couldn't learn more about her mother. (From her shirt, it looks like her mom played Blank Check as it was known as back then.)

Other than that, blah. Evil Pathy and More or Less being set up the exact same way it's normally set up almost every single time it's been played, and a DOB on top of it all.

Grand Game was totally set up to be won.  There is no way it should have ended with someone winning $10.

Everyone in the first Showcase Showdown was a woman whose name started with N.  I know that doesn't really mean anything, but I find it interesting. :)

And speaking of those girls, what the heck was up with Nadine?  She seemed to be terribly unfamiliar with the show.  I'm pretty sure I've never seen someone have to ask what spinning 80¢ on the Big Wheel meant before.

There was an unintentionally strange moment at the end of More or Less -- when they dissolved from the shot of the game to the shot of the audience, Drew's face and Anne's son's face were in exactly the same place.

but I'm not sure I'm gonna like it if Pathfinder gets played 20+ times...

You'd have hated the early '90s!

Oh yeah, the lineups for these "first two weeks of the season" are just weird. Cover skipping both of the first two weeks, while Pathfinder and Gas Money get played two weeks in a row? L7 and TTM both take the 2nd week off? It's going to take awhile to figure out what's going on here, but I'm not sure I'm gonna like it if Pathfinder gets played 20+ times...

Man, more Pathfinder and less of those 3 games? I'm down. :)

I mentioned this in chat yesterday. Has it ever happened that we have three contestants starting with N and of the same gender.

Willy just never started it.

Right.  Willy typically doesn't start an FPG season until after at least a few weeks of shows have aired.  Wait at least another month and he'll make an announcement of some kind.
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Willy typically runs a game every week of the season.  I haven't talked to him, but I have to assume we're not doing it this year.

He heavily fumbled the end of last season and still doesn't seem willing to admit it.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Methinks ye be confusing "isn't willing to admit it" with "doesn't care."

Why bring it back for a couple months and then drop it, otherwise?

Because he doesn't care.  I already told you that.

You have your explanation.  Whether or not it's the one you want, I'm quite sure it's the correct one.  We're not going to go 'round and 'round about this.
