Ah, Lucky $even, back to the ol' -89 combo. How I've missed that.  :P

I definitely did not miss Stack the Deck, though. That game is bad enough as it is, but having it show up alongside L7 means no cars were going to be won; not only that, but we've seen this twice and we've still yet to see Let 'em Roll or Pass the Buck... I'm hoping that's just due to funky airdates.

Also, those were some messed-up showcases; there was the ridiculously expensive SC1, while SC2, with two cheap items plus a cheaper-than-you'd-think hybrid, was a forced OB. Seems to me they're hoping Ronald declines the uber-trip to Las Vegas.

Everything else went pretty well, though. We finally break the 5-digit point on Punchy for the first time since the new slip distribution, Flip Flop was won on a flip-flop setup (and was an overall fun segment to watch), we get an exacta off a tough Bonkers setup (lower than 3 and higher than 7? Yikes!), and there was a Bargain win to close the pricing games.

Edit: I have to wonder: does Angela have the (daytime) record for the most combined money across her four slips in Punchy? She had a combined total of $16,000, and the only other contestant I can think of who had at least $15,000 across his four slips is "buy a dog" Brian, who gave up $5,000 and won $10,000; don't know how much his other slips were.

I have no idea if this was by accident, but the word "kettle" was displayed on the TV screen as a prize just as George said it in the description for the popcorn machine.

I don't know if this is the record either, but the $17,000 punched in that episode beats today.

Anyone who still insists they are NOT twisting the odds on the luck games like this and Pass the Buck (and to an extent sometimes Half Off) is in complete denial. I personally think the best inference here is that 25k has been laying untouched in 4,10 for all these years - a hole you'd have to stoop down a bit for and the left side is getting more hits than the right.
I thought I'd highlight this since Scorpz posted some relevant information on it. 4,10 has been punched three times in the last 11 seasons, the last being in 2004. In all three instances in which it was punched, it contained the top prize. You are probably right in where it is laying and if I ever have the opportunity to make it to the show, I'm telling everyone in line to pick 4,10 do their best if they get Punch-A-Bunch and I'll be sure to pick it first do my best if I get the opportunity to play it onstage. Oops, am I banned from the show now?

Very high/low show today Friday (still sleepy). Bonkers insta and Punch $10k were nice, off-set with Flip Flop (warming up the pipes...) and Stack the Deck. Ronald should've known better on Lucky Seven.
