Also... what's wrong? An OA exacta is the 1mil requirement.

It's a ridiculous comment to make in the first place. The MDS is dead, anyway.

Pretty good show today............

THE BAD NEWS:

Money Game: Taylor not only fell victim to the Front and Back scheme, like Bobby McBride mentioned, she also picked the the big numbers as the last two.

Coming Or Going: Here's a basic understanding: If you're playing for a trip, you're "Going"............if it's anything else, you're "Coming". Either way, tough break for Marie Lynn.

THE GOOD NEWS:

Cliff Hangers: Gary was a real pro..........However, I wasn't aware that s'more maker was gonna be $50. On top of that, he also won his showcase!

Race Game: I was afraid that Dashnas was going to fail on this, but at least she did the prizes right, though.

Now Or Then: Jasmine did great!  I knew that milkshake was "Now", though.

One Away: I applaud Daniel for ending another game's futility...........And he did it perfectly! Seems weird that it happen on October, just like last season, but still great playing!

A very well-deserved 4/6 show today!

You never know when it will be back. Regardless his statement is correct if it was the MD$ game in a MDS.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I'm going to be blunt here:  The poster in question is not smart enough that most people reading his comment would have thought he was referring to something grounded in reality instead of pulling some random idea out of his ass.

Let's remember, Million Dollar Spectaculars still live on in the Play Along section!

Now to be serious...

Well done in One Away. I was with him every way in his choices and I just didn't like the price I saw. Glad it was right. What a great win. The Annual Perfect One Away.

Well done in Cliff Hangers. He just made good choices all the way through. You can't argue with a playing like that.

I was hoping she was going to move fast in Race Game, but I was wrong. Luckily, however, her she didn't lose her wits and made the right choice in the end. Well done.

Fine show today. I look forward to tomorrow. If not for the nice setups, then at least for another appearance of the bell variant of the theme (I can hope right?).

All in all a good show. Nothing too unusual showed up, but also there was only one quickie (well, one quickie and the quickest car game) and we had 4/6 games won including a car game.

Cliff Hangers was a solid playing.

Money Game was lost due to the low back half (which also formed a front-and-back pattern). Not much else there.

There are two ways to win Race Game: 1. Be fast, logical, and mildly good with prices, or 2. Be slow but really good with prices so you get it in the one or two tries you can get in. The name of the game suggests that 1 is the "preferred" route, but nothing wrong with 2 if it produces a win like it did today. (If it doesn't, though...)

Now... or Then: Methinks the two prices ending in 0 were the Then prices.

One Away: Nice to see this game won, and on an exacta, too! (Our first win last season was an exacta as well... let's just hope that, unlike last season, we don't have to wait until nearly the end of the season for our next win...)

Coming or Going: And another mystery of Price revealed: the cue cards with the prize descriptions! Too bad it didn't help Marie Lynn win. With only a ~$700 difference in the two prices, the key was in ending pattern recognition: -749 is just one under -750, which is a "nice" number (being the three-quarter mark and all), while -478 is just, well, weird.

To rephrase, If this was an MDS and One Away was the Million Dollar Game the player who won One Away would win a Million Dollars. How do I know this?

I think we all have seen that episode before and understand the rules of One Away for $1,000,000. What we were wondering was why you decided to randomly say "If One Away was the Million Dollar Game it would've been won for $1,000,000" considering there haven't been Million Dollar Spectaculars for over 4 years and there is no chance of there being one for a long time in the future.
