Daylight Savings Time Ends
« on: October 29, 2012, 08:59:54 AM »
Remember to set your clocks back this weekend (11/4/2012 At 2:00AM) as daylight saving time ends.

“For the premiere of season 30, CBS wanted to do a special primetime show. However, they asked that we also add a gimmick or a twist to make it truly special. I came up with the suggestion of taking the show on the road for the first time in its history." - Roger Dobkowitz

Enough people are asleep that it doesn't interfere with anyone's schedule.

Can you imagine how confusing it would be if the time changed during the day? People, businesses, schedules, etc. would be thrown into chaos. Also, they couldn't very well do the time change at midnight either, because that'd force people change the time back to "yesterday." At 2 a.m., most people are probably at home, and most businesses are closed, so as to cause as little confusion as possible.

the worst part about this for me is that it means TPIR is now on at 2am my time, instead of 1am - making it just that much harder to catch live. :P

I wouldn't mind that actually if they made it during a workday. I'd get paid an extra hour.  :P

Although we're setting the clocks back one hour I still hate doing it. Lol.

Yeah it does get annoying, but there is one solution.... Move to Arizona! :P

And just for the record, grammatically, it's Daylight Saving Time, not "savings."

For the record, grammatically, you should not start a sentence with a conjunction. :P
