I've eaten at a great steakhouse called The Keg.  Two people easily can spend $100 on New York Steak dinners and an appetizer, which is two courses.  I'd say at $70-$90 per person (which for double the courses is a discount), something from $1,470-$1,890 seems right for that.

I've known Apple computers to be $2,000-$3,000; my mother is a teacher, and they use Macs.  Also, I've seen them on the actual show and they surprise me more than a normal PC.

My Dad owns an F150 right now.  Not sure how much they fluctuate, but I know they start something like $23K, and 4x4 as well as the 8 foot box jack up the price a fair bit.  I'm calling it $30K-$32K.

So in total, I'll say $1,700+$2,200+$31,000 (playing it safe)...

Final bid: $35,035.

(I added $135 because I like funny bids.)

Stats in the morning, I'm tired. This will probably be my last HYO for a while, as I don't plan on getting back in line anytime soon. Hope you guys enjoyed the show, despite the fact I really sucked this time around.

Was a little more than I thought; had 88JRFAN taken the advice on a bid given for the Tripcase, that would be the winning bid.  Good guess likewise of the $40K from pathfinder.

I was going to go something like $33-$35K on it (the truck), but didn't want to risk going over.  I have some idea of Ford prices as my father only buys Ford, so I've had exposure to those.  $31,135 (as it ended up) was a safe estimate.  For all I know, it probably was about $34K. :)

In fact, I might have gone for that if the other bid had been taken.  I knew $20K wasn't enough for those trips. :D

Ah, the monitor was separate, and the computer by itself cost more than I thought with the monitor included.

Damn you Apple, you fooled me again.
