I justed watched Game Show Countdown: Top Ten Hosts and it was an excellent show by GSN!! I suggest it to be watched! It is on at 11 pm Sunday night and has some good clips of TPIR! Enjoy if you have not seen it yet.

Definitely worth a look if you missed it.  Nice to know that GSN gets some things right;-).  Also nice preview for next week's countdown!

Rich Fields was a riot with some of his comments about Bob's longevity.  I'll refrain from being specific, but he had me laughing on my couch.  Great clips too, and I was actually surprised at the variety of clips.  Does this signal some sort of good feeling between GSN and Freemantle?  Or is a different contract situation to get clips like these for a compilation show?

Why is everyone getting all happy over GSN's relations with Fremantle?  The party keeping TPIR off of that network is CBS.

On the weekend before Bob Barker retires from "The Price Is Right", GSN should run a 2 hour special on Bob Barker's career, from "Truth Or Consequences", to "The Price Is Right", with interviews and everything.

Good show, nice clips, esp. rare ones of Bill Cullen.  Bill was a super host and panelist.

But I felt they had some glaring omissions:  Jack Barry, Tom Kennedy, Jack Narz, Bud Collyer, Geoff Edwards, Jim Lange...not a single clip of them!

No Allen Ludden?! I'd take him over Regis and Pat ANY day!

Pretty good list, even though Regis definitely didn't belong there (Besides Millionaire, most of his gameshow experience was with short-lived bombs back in the 80s.)  I also think they seem to give way too much credit to Gene Rayburn these days.  He's good, but not a #2.

GSN cannot run full episodes of The Price is Right.

I was thinking of a 2 hour retrospective of Bob's career, which not only includes "Truth Or Consequences" and "The Price Is Right", but the "Miss USA" and "Miss Universe" beauty pageants.

That is what I was thinking that GSN should do.
