Nice wins on Cliff Hangers, Bargain Game, and Double Prices! :-)  I was shocked when Jimmy wiped out on It's In The Bag!  8-O  That doesn't happen very often.

Not too bad overall, IMHO.

The 7,784th episode (101st for Season 41)

The Ineligible Situation
From what I think, it is most likely that Timothy was the ineligible contestant.  If it is indeed Timothy, he would not have received the consolation prize of $300 cash he would have otherwise won.

May I ask why you think this?

I'm just taking a guess.  It does not necessarily mean that I'm right or not.

Then as I already told PriceBuster, please don't.

I have no problem with someone providing a reasoned explanation of why one particular contestant might have been the one who was ineligible, but tossing out names just because you want there to be an answer is totally pointless and will probably end up confusing someone who doesn't realize you have no evidence.

It also could embarrass anyone who is falsely accused. I imagine that's another reason why they don't publish the name on air. Nobody wants to be known as someone who was on The Price is Right but found ineligible. Some who aren't familiar with the show might assume that person cheated or something of the like when it was really for some other reason.

If it's a guess, how was it most likely it was him? :|
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Then they could specify the contestant and why s/he was ineligible ("The sixth onstage contestant was found to be ineligible due to working at a CBS affiliate at the time of recording. Her prizes have been forfeited.", or something along those lines).
The above is my opinion and mine alone.

Wow, having that $13K Chevy Spark in a non-fee game is such a bad idea, even Drew realized the bad effect it could have on gameplay.

Boy, you should have heard him badmouth the thing during the following commercial break.

:headbang:

One of Roger's rules is that "All prizes are good." Drew should not be dissing them, even during a commercial break.

Since that fact is now out, though...what did Drew say about it?

One of Roger's rules is that "All prizes are good." Drew should not be dissing them, even during a commercial break.

Another thing Roger said is that he would never offer cars like that because they make the show look cheap and the last thing he would want to do is make the show look cheap. Also, a lot of people in the Recap as well as in Chat during the show got mad when the Spark showed up because of how cheap it is. How is it OK for us (and Roger in a sense) to insult them but not Drew? I think this shows Drew feels the same way as us on a lot of things, which I think is a good thing.

(See: Drew's comments during a break last season about That's Too Much = We're Over Budget! Maybe that's why it's being played less this season?)

If Roger wasn't offering them, then they weren't prizes; thus, insulting them does not equate to insulting prizes.

If the budget were under control, I can almost assure you we'd be seeing a ton more of Dice Game.

Actually, I do believe Roger made negative remarks about the Smart Car being offered. Not sure if it was when he was on or not, but he was still talking negatively about a prize. :P

I wasn't saying the budget was under control. I was saying that maybe they're playing That's Too Much less because of what Drew said. There are many ways to skin a cat, like having Pathfinder show up constantly. :P

I don't remember exactly what, but the gist of it was that he was trying to convince the contestant that she was better off not winning it because of taxes and things.

I hardly think you can equate a producer discussing a mistake made by his successor with the current host bad-mouthing stuff he's supposed to be giving away.
