CSS Season 9.5 - Results for 02/13/2013 (Game 8)

...holy mess.

Compared to the last couple of games, there are no major garfs today...that's something, right? Maybe?

thepriceis_J scores the nice DSW on the random boat, grabbing nearly $50K in his bank. vader scoops up the Harley with a solid three-digit bid.

Overall, considerably better bidding today. Those who scored earned at least 83 points, with three three-digit differences. Unfortunately, at the other end of the spectrum, there are eleven overbids, including six of us who heels'd (including a very painful DSWSD)...and what was StagePlayer thinking with that massive Willy?

In other news, in my first official CSS game in nearly two years, I failed.

"Nobody cares about the guest stars." - Roger Dobkowitz

"Change isn't always good. Sometimes changing things is a terrible mistake." - Bob Barker

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Me: Of all of the game shows you've hosted, besides Jeopardy!, like High Rollers or Classic Concentration, which is your favorite?
Alex Trebek: I'd have to say To Tell The Truth, because it was the first time in my career that I got to sit down while I was hosting.

I could have sworn I read 27761...but that's pretty conclusive. Fixed.

Jack read $27,761 in chat.  Meanie.
Torgo has left the building. John and I never really cared for the way he presented himself.

Not quite. Your recapper made an error, which has now been fixed.
