I didn't have any faith in my picks... but, somehow, I got 3 games right (including Danger Price) and the final contestant of the show won a big showcase. So a pretty good day for me for the third week in a row. I think I'm finally hitting my groove.
Lots of Play-Along cash went out today, thanks to several players riding with #6.
I considered Tempty for my own picks, but I didn't think there was any way in hell it was gonna show up on the same day as Danger. I should've played it anyway because I know that Sandler likes to do crazy stuff like that. So thanks to my cowardice, Adam gets credit for another Sandbag this season.
I teased about an FPG Historic Moment® earlier. One player put a confidence ranking of "9" in two of his picks. Sounds like a smart idea for those extra CPs... but it's just like Dice Game here. There are no numbers higher than 6. I'm not going to mention his name, but you'll probably know who it is if you see the picks thread.

Our runner-up came up with a score of 10 MP/52 CP on picks of Money (wS/rR), 1RP (rS/rR), and Pushy (rS/rR). That was

Now to our winner. He was the only person to come up with 11 MP, so that made him eligible for the "4" bonus. He went runner-runner to start the show. He nailed Money for 4/24 and was the only other person besides me to pick Danger, so he was in dominant position after two games with 8/36. There was really nothing any of us could do to catch him because he also picked Plinko and Pushy, so he unquestionably gets that 25-point bonus, right?
Wrong.
He got only 45 CP. Pushy 6th gave him the 11 MP necessary to win the bonus, but ironically, it cost him the bonus because Flerbert nailed Pushy for 20 CP and the overall CP lead. Remember, the rules state that you must maintain the lead in
both MP and CP to win the bonus. We've been dancing around the "4" bonus and the SSM$ bonus all season. Will
anybody take either one of these before the end of the season?
