The former coach of the Oilers, Bears, Redskins, and the University of Houston has succumbed to gall bladder cancer; he was 76.  One of Bear Bryant's successful Junction Boys, Pardee can probably be given strong credit for the high-flying college offenses of today with his championing of the run and shoot back in the day.  For more information:
