Different strokes for different folks, I guess.  I didn't mind George vacuuming the glass (it had to be done anyway), but I hated when Drew drop-kicked the can of Pringles (which didn't have to be done).
I'm with you DJ. I thought that whole thing with the Pringles can was just stupid. Here we have a great Grocery Game win, the contestant is very happy and celebrating, and Drew says "Have some Pringles" and offers her the can??!! Notice how the contestant just ignored that.

Nothing spectacularly good or bad today, just a decent average show. (Other than the pretty ridiculous Car Games, but oh well...)

When Heidi was gonna play TTM for a Camaro (The Kiss Of Death), I knew that it wasn't gonna be won.

Actually, she played it for a Ford Mustang.

Actually, she was too busy yelling and jumping that she probably just didn't hear Drew.

It's not too often that you see a showcase difference that's a nice number ($2,900), as opposed to the usual something like $2,873 difference.

Not a horrible show today, but the contestant playing Grocery Game was very annoying to me. It doesn't seem like she said (actually, yelled) anything besides "Oh my God!" until she started actually playing the game.
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

1. It was a Mustang, not a Camaro (and there is no "kiss of death" in TPIR, no matter how bad it seems)
2. Never count your chickens before they hatch.

That's the first time a contestant broke a light bulb on the big wheel while spinning the wheel.

I got those mixed up.

I don't like it when Drew thinks he has the urge to manhandle any grocery item, for that matter. That is so irritating.

Is anyone else having issues viewing this episode on CBS.com?

Works fine for me, have you tried turning off AdBlock? That was a problem for me a couple weeks ago.

Huh, that was weird. It works for me now, but I kept getting a "This video is no longer available" message earlier. Thanks for the suggestion though, vader!

Such as the time he dropkicked a bag of charcoal after a Grand Game win...and the bag burst open, sending the charcoal all over the stage.
The above is my opinion and mine alone.

To answer your questions: yes, I am a guy and yes, I have a face. (I also have the occasional spurt of weirdness.)

I really don't understand Drew.  He was an insufferable idiot for most of the first half of this episode, and then he suddenly became tolerable when Kellen smashed the light on the Big Wheel.

Drew standing on the other side of Race Game bothers me more than it probably should.

Yay for Grocery Game!

I was really glad Heidi won the second Showcase Showdown and, ultimately, the Showcase.  You've gotta root for a first spinner who knows not to stay on 65! :)

Race Game was weird.  Namely, the way they tried to hide the game, so you couldn't tell until after George finished describing the prizes whether they were actually going to play Race Game or Take Two.  I actually thought Take Two would've been more likely, since they didn't have the Race Game stands by the prizes during the descriptions.  That whole thing just seemed really awkward.  They shouldn't do that again.

For what it's worth, on the HD feed, you could see Race Game -- not that that made the shot any better.

I'm going to chalk Race Game's weird shot into "Adam has no clue how to direct and shouldn't be the director - ever. Thank goodness it was only temporary"
