It's interesting how they revealed the big one in PaB. I always wondered why they didn't do it on regular shows, maybe they'll start. But do you think they usually KNOW where the big slip is? I know that in the very early days of the bonus wheel on WOF, Pat would always show where the big one ($100k) was. He would still do it occasionally if they landed right next to it. And he still does it if they have the Million Dollar Wedge.
And why stop there? Why not Master Key? Perhaps if someone wipes out on that game, they should show the MK to show what the outcome would've been. They did the same with Rat Race.

Well, that was a regular show with an awkward PaB, a BMW in a showcase, and the rest being... not too bad, really, at least for a normal show. A# was definitely the highlight; she spent a while trying to figure out the second digit, but it worked out for her by filling in the last three digits and eliminating choices so that she found herself practically in an instant-win situation. Probably one of the more fun ways to win that game.

Also, keep the good Clock Game players coming!

They did the same with Rat Race.

What? Different outcomes in Rat Race are self-evident—if you had picked that rat, you would have won the car.

They are not going to start showing where the $25,000 slip is in regular Punch-a-Bunch playings. They were probably required to this time, and if not, that's one time when people want to know where it is. Viewers generally don't care which key was the Master Key.

That said, it was a very interesting playing. James shattered the record for money thrown back; it's a shame he only got $1,000 out of it. I'm just glad they used a reasonable (actually, very easy) SP setup.

Hmm - not sure how true this chart still is (I know someone picked the 4th row, 10th spot since then) but it's interesting that one of the 4 never picked spots was the one that they put the big amount in.  Maybe that's where the $25,000 has been hiding, too?

Also interesting that someone smart enough to realize that the 2nd number in Any Number was going to be on the large side could have simply started with 9 and worked down in order and won the car.

According to the updated air-dates page and the video posted on CBS.com, this was episode 6322 taped on March 6, not 6321 taped on February 27.

Just one comment on the Showcase:
I hope James enjoys my home city.

I actually found this to be an enjoyable, above-average show, but for reasons that had nothing to do with Big Money week itself. The other games were all enjoyable and seemed to be well-played, and even Punch-A-Bunch didn't seem too out of the ordinary, other than the distribution panel change, and the fact that the contestant hit $5,000 twice in a row. This game not too long ago had a rash of $5,000 and $10,000 appearances. The BMW in the showcases was a nice touch, but that's happened on occasion, too. Otherwise, it seemed like a normally budgeted episode with some more exciting moments in the pricing games.

I liked yesterday's episode.  The Big Money gimmick enhanced the game instead of dragging id down, and I liked the old school feel to the rest of the lineup.   Add in a great slew of contestants, nice showcases, and 4 for 6 on pricing games and I can't find a thing to complain about.

I loved the "big money" aspect of the show, but they shouldn't have started the show with it, in my opinion. I do like that the games (for the most-part) being chosen for this big money week are games of chance where they can't absolutely prevent a win like in a game such as Lucky Seven or Double Prices. Punch-a-Bunch, they never have any idea where the contestants will punch...3 Strikes (just assuming that's the Ferrari game) the contestant could pull out nothing but numbers until they're all lit up...Plinko, there's no way they can rig the chips to fall where they want.

On a side note, was anyone else bothered by Jeremy (ironically enough my own name!) screaming his love for Manuela and really ignoring Amber. I found that to be a bit rude. He only acknowledged her when Drew did. I know she was a good sport about it and Drew tried to have some fun with it, but I found it very awkward.

Terrific point, maybe someone could update that to make sure 3,9 hasn't been punched this year (or last year). (Maybe I will update it, we'll see....)

I myself would find it highly amusing if they offered $250,000 Cash in Lucky Seven or Double Prices, but that's just me.

Eh, Everyone has a favorite model. For instance, some people wear shirts that only mention one models name, nobody gets offended by those. Amber was clearly just playing it up as a joke.

I found it both mildly creepy and mildly amusing at the same time. Dunno why.
