Squeeze: Yet another player loses this because they didn't take out that gooseegg.

Grand: Should've had a $100K win, but at least it wasn't a total loss (unlike what the final scoreboard indicated).

MoL: By far, the easiest setup in a long time!

SBS: Easy.

DC: It was its easy self again.

Pathfinder: A total wash.

Showcases: I thought Christopher would lose because he was over- as it turned out, he lost because of falling just short.

Not quite as good as yesterday.

vadernader was the first to point this out, but perhaps it is coded that if a loss is attained at the $1,000 level, it automatically resets to $0 in the maingame.  Perhaps they just didn't change it in the coding for today.  Drew mentioned during the Showcase Showdown that the contestant won $1,000.

More or Less was laughably easy.

Wow, they REALLY wanted to give away $100,000 today? I was shocked by that, figuring it would be super evil like the $40k 40th anniversary Grand setup. They must really be underbudget right now, between that and the truly-impossible-to-lose MOL. I wish they'd spread it more throughout the season. On the other hand, I'm glad at least MOL was won today because Grand certainly didn't go the way it was supposed to. Sometimes stuff like that happens and there's not much you can do about it. Then again, it's not the worst thing that $100k went back in the budget.

The Pathfinder price seems to almost always be tricky, while the SPs vacillate between being easy and hard. Today was definitely one of the easier days - not sure why that was wiped out. Overall, it's rare I can say a show was set up to be a budget-buster, but this one definitely was, it just underperformed. Helps make the week a little less annoying though - Drew is way overdoing the big money gimmick in general.

Timings:
Squeeze Play (3.5) - 3:02
Grand Game (5) - 6:22 (yes, really...)
More Or Less (5.5) - 6:00
Side By Side (3.5) - 3:32
Double Cross (4) - 3:14
Pathfinder (6) - 4:25
Total (27.5): 25:35

Grand Game wasn't super super easy--if you know ice cream is expensive, but don't know Creamsicles are (relatively) cheap, you could've lost--but once Jamie got the trickiest product out of the way, I have no idea how she lost from there.  Everything except the Creamsicles was super obvious, so... yeah, no idea what happened.

Either way, still surprisingly easy for $100,000.

Here comes Day 2 of Big Money Week:

THE BAD NEWS:

Pathfinder: I...........I mean...........Sheesh. Normally in the defense of the guy that was standing up, who I'm pretty sure is either Stephani's boyfriend or husband, he did say or mouthed out "$42" on the deep fryer. Her own fault for not listening to him in the end, I guess. Seems ironic that Drew would say, "At least you got a GPS". Probably should return that and keep the $500 for getting the exact bid............

Squeeze Play: To quote Willy Wonka:

'Nuff said.

THE NOT-SO-BAD NEWS:

Grand Game: It was easy seeing that Jamie should've avoid the non-food items, and that includes the body wash. At least she left here with a trip-case and $1000 from GG.

THE GOOD NEWS:

MoL: Arguably one of the most easiest setups from that game, but to paraphrase Chris Berman: "Erin has gone all...............the.............way!!!"

Side-by-Side: Donald played that well............Easy as hell, too, though.

Double Cross: Same for Christopher!

Mostly 1/2 and 1/2 considering how easy most of today's games were (Especially Squeeze Play) but it was still good, with the addition of three contestants getting exact bids.

Is that really appropriate?  "Take out the 0" isn't the easiest setup in the world, and $9,0xx doesn't look any more right/wrong than $9,8xx for a trip.

You know...they REALLY want to give away $100,000 Cash. First trying super easy Pay the Rent setups, now a super easy Grand Game setup. Yet, we found the one person in the audience who thinks Olay is < $4.50. Unfortunate.

More or Less was laughable at best. Nobody was going to lose that ladies & gents, Nobody.

This show had so much potential to have over $200,000 in winnings, it just didn't live up to it.

I find it hilarious that these people couldn't give away $100,000 if their life depended on it. On three seperate occasions they've made it terribly easy and yet it doesn't get won. Today was the worst example of this as the entire audience was trying to walk her to the money ("POTATOES? POTATOES? POTATOES? I'll go body wash."). I've got more to say on this, but I'll save for later as I'm on my phone.

Nice to see they've finally let up on More or Less. This was the easiest setup since...ever. I could do nothing but laugh at how easy the fakes were on all of the prizes.

I personally would have wished that Pathfinder would have been the easy car game of the day, maybe make the choices for the second digit 2, 7, 8, 9.  :-)

At least we knew today had potential. In some cases, the contestants might just have been overthinking it.

For example, I don't know if the Grand Game contestant thought there would be a evil trick in order to win the grand prize, which is reasonable, or if she really thought the body wash was less.

In fact, I guaranteed weeks ago that if there wasn't a PtR win by the time this week came around, there should be this week (but it might still not happen).

I honestly wanted to cry when she picked the shampoo. This was one of the easiest setups I've seen in a long time. The one I had doubt about was the ice cream bars, so after she had picked that one, I was sure it was going to be a win.  :'(

I was very surprised that Grand Game wasn't won. When I saw the target price and the items I was confident it would be won.

More or Less had a pretty easy setup but it was still well played.

Kinda got on a roll in the middle of the show partly due to easy setups. Had Grandy been won, this would have been a really good show. It was only an okay show as it was.
Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.
