Ok, that's either a lot more expensive, or a lot cheaper than I thought... but which?!

I think I will try $950 next... if that is wrong, $910.

1233: Make it $950!!!

{hits button #4}

{buzz}

Don't lose hope, you are on the right track.

We are all hoping for $910, Show show us $910!!

{hits button #5}

{ding}
{audience claps}

You are in great shape, my friend. Not only do you have 5 chances to win that car, you have five chances to get the first win on this show AND the first car win in a pricing game in this series.

{audience cheers}

A lot is riding on this, so let's see the numbers for the car

{pulls off tag}

Using all five of those numbers, right down the price of that Dodge Grand Caravan.

{audience yells advice}

I will try... $19,320.

If that is wrong, $19,230.

If those are both wrong, then, as Bob would say... "HELP ME, AUDIENCE!"

1233: is it $19,320 for that car?

{hits button #6}

{buzz}

We've been down this road before, so it's nothing new.

Is it $19,230?

{hits button #7}

{buzz}

Audience, Shatter has three more chances and needs your help, so help him.

{audience gives more advice}

I mean, I can't fathom this van is less than $19K... assuming the zero does in fact belong at the end, the next series of prices would be $21K ($21,390 or $21,930) ... then $23K ($23,190 or $23,910)... and then... could it be as high as $29K is what I am wondering.... what do you think, audience?

Go with $23,910/$23,190. I'm almost certain one of those two is the actual retail price.
Stop the madness.

I definitely don't think it is a $29K van... so, with my final three guesses, I will try:

$23,910

If that's wrong, $23,190

Last guess, if needed, would be $21,930 (the high end of that $21K scale).

*crosses fingers*

1233: OK, is it $23,910

{hits button #8}

{buzz}

How about $23,190?

{hits button #9}

{buzz}

OK, you are on your final try to win that beautiful car.

You went with $21,930, let's see are you a winnner!?!

{pretends to hit button #10}

Are you sure you want to see?

{Shatter says yes}

That's good enough for me.

{hits button #10}

{buzz, buzz, buzz}
{audience groans}

You wrote down 5 of the 6 choices you thought were reasonable. How unlucky would it be if it was the one you missed. Is it?

Wow, you were way off from the get go. But enjoy your bird house and weather vane.

Hopefully, we can avoid our first winless show of the series after this line break

*********************************************************************

1233: Mr. Announcer, this has been a long day. But like I said earlier, it's how you finish that matters. Who is the final contestant?

Announcer: It's none other than...SilverFirePrime. Come on down as the final contestant on the Price is Right.

{applause}

1233: You only have one chance to bid, so don't blow it. Here is the last item up for bids.

Announcer: It's a full set of baseball bats

{applause}

This set of 9 Easton bats are perfectly weighted for the home-run hitter. They are the same length as a professional bat and feature a grip for increased effectiveness

1233: OK, now please start the bidding, Sliver.

Bidding Order:
SilverFirePrime ---->
03F5man ----------->
jlgarfield ------------>
AMGray1986 ------->

Yeah, I didn't stand a chance there! Even if I hadn't used so many on the weathervane, $30K+ would have never entered my mind.

It was fun to play Ten Chances though, it's one of my favorite games.

{bids light up}

Bidding Order:
SilverFirePrime ----> $630
03F5man -----------> $699
jlgarfield ------------> $800
AMGray1986 -------> $725

1233: The bids are in and the price is...

So jlgarfield, come on down.

{applause}
{walks to center stage}

Now I have a special treat for you, so let's hear about what you can win

{Door 3 opens}

Announcer: It's a dictionary set and a floor lamp {modeled by Rob and Amber}

This set of 20 encyclopedias is the perfect gift for your least favorite child. It is much easier to use than one single giant book

This Elk lighting floor lamp weighs 44 pounds can hold 5 bulbs and comes in a talha bronze finish

{applause}

1233: Now I know you don't know how to play Blackout, because it is the newest game to the show.

{applause}

So listen carefully to the rules. The price of the encyclopedias is on the board and the price of the lamp is on the board.  All I want you to do is cover up the wrong prices using these black tiles.

{picks up black tile to show audience}

To win, both correct prices must be left uncovered

You have two choices to determine how many prices you have to cover up.

Choice #1: Right now you have to cover up 4 prices. If you'd like you can go over and do that.

Choice #2: Next to Maneula, there is a box with a small prize in it and a price tag. If you correctly tell me if that price is too high, too low or just right for the product, I will make you cover only 3 prices, increasing your odds. But be warned, if you are wrong, you will have to cover 5 prices

So your first decision is what choice are you going with?

{audience yells advice}

(please ask questions if you don't understand any part of the game)
