Please never let Amber be the model for One Away. That was just horrible today.

We've seen pricey trips before, so the second showcase doesn't bother me.

|9|9|8|9|8| is pretty evil for Squeeze Play, although $9,998 looks "nicer" than either $9,898 or $9,988.
Torgo has left the building. John and I never really cared for the way he presented himself.

Today's episode was 6335K, Taped 3/20/2013.

Pretty great show today, even the One Away loss was a good segment (Not counting Amber's modeling, of course! :P)

Showcase 2 had the potential to be either barely over $20,000 or barely over $40,000. Turns out it was the latter, which... is weird.

After BMW, everything's back to normal............

THE BAD NEWS:

OA: Why that contestant changed the second 2 to a 4, is beyond me. Amber was pretty all over the place with the game today, to say the least.

1/2 Off: Those SPs alone were pretty brutal. Too bad he didn't picked #3.

Squeeze Play: Tsk, tsk, tsk...............That's all I can say. I will say, though, that she should've removed the 1st 8, obviously.

THE GOOD NEWS:

ME: That really threw me off-guard. Man, that was a cheap TV!

Bullseye: Great playing by Barbara!

TTM: Word of advice to future contestants: NEVER say "That's Too Much" on the 1st price. Thankfully Lori decided to keep on going due to that and won the car and her SC featuring lions, tigers, and bears. Oh my. (Sorry. Couldn't resist.)

Nice show today and George didn't do too bad on the drumming.

OA: $24,283 would've been a great first guess, Veronica.

ME: I would've lost on the TV.

Bullseye: Barbara also could've won by buying two Cortizone-10s.

TTM: I was about as shocked as most of you are that this was won despite Lori misunderstanding the game at first- the thing is, she had the same fate as Nomie on 10/25/10 (mistakenly saying the magic words on the first price & then winning).

1/2 Off: Good thing this playing didn't happen during Big Money Week (because it likely would've been played for $100K).

Squeeze: I would've lost, too.

Showcases: IMO, Lori did as well as she did because Lady Luck was on her side the whole show.

Decent show today.

One Away:  Darn deceptively cheap Jeep Compass!
Most Expensive:  Nice job! :-)
Bullseye:  Very well played! :-)
That's Too Much:  Wow, it was actually won! 8-O
1/2 Off:  Some of the small prizes were evil, IMO.
Squeeze Play:  One of the most eviul setups I've ever seen on this game, IMO.
Showcase:  How the heck is a tripcase $41,952!? ??? :-o

Pretty good start to the week, IMHO.

Back to normal shows today. The One Away segment was about as fun a segment as one can be when the contestant obviously has the wrong answer the whole time. Drew made the most of that contestant. Other than that, it was nice to see TTM won (on what actually wasn't that hard a setup, if there's a big jump midway through to over 20k contestants will take it) and that's about it. Oh, and another insane tripcase. They won't ALWAYS get declined...

Timings:
One Away (6) - 6:15
Most Expensive (3.5) - 3:44
Bullseye (5) - 4:02
That's Too Much (4) - 3:37
1/2 Off (5.5) - 5:16
Squeeze Play (3.5) - 3:00
Total (27.5): 25:54

That's what I guessed, but upon review of the online credit roll, they replaced the Hyundai w/ the Honda- that's only the second time they've done something like that (the first one was last year's Memorial Day Teen Drivers show).

One Away: When Veronica had not changed the second digit, I was like "She's done."  Not that I didn't do any better, I had $22,481.  Oh and Amber wasn't a good fit for turning the numbers for One Away, IMO.

Most Expensive: I lost this---I said the TV.  I'm happy Steve picked the right one.

Bullseye: I was happy Barbara won that one.

Half Off: Those SP's were HARD!!!  Dennis picked 8.  I picked 13.  Well....

Squeeze Play: An EVIL crapshoot.  I apprently agreed with Anna.  A price with 3 nines together?  Okay Richards, we need to talk about this.

Showcases: In my opinion, I think whomever had the second showcase would win today....jeez who sexed up those trips?  That first showcase was a real trap in my honest opinion.

We had a few tough setups today (One Away, Squeeze Play, even Most Expensive... nice job, Justin!) but what stood out to me was the chemistry in this show. My goodness, it was just fun. Drew and Veronica were awesome in One Away, they took extra time so someone could score a goal on the air hockey table, and Manuela in ME made the argument for mic'd up models... brilliant.

So according to the letter of the rule, should Vanessa have won TTM? Or is it the fact that she didn't scream it why they kept going?

Was Squeeze Play really that bad?  I mean, any playing with an xyx setup where y has to be removed doesn't seem all that bad, even if it looked more confusing than usual today.  I mean, considering a lot of playings are just a random guess, this playing didn't seem that bad.
