The Check-Out win was awesome.  Just no other way to say it, or to not love that moment.  That was so not supposed to be won!

Drew mentioning the Check-Out win at the end of the show was actually pretty good.  Stuff like that works a lot better when there's not a showcase winner from whom he's drawing attention away.

It was really awkward, having two 2-prize quickies back to back.  That one of them was a bizarre Coming or Going setup does not make it better.

Anyone understand why most of the audience thought a seemingly-obvious wrong price in Freeze Frame was correct?  I don't think Mike meant for it to play out quite like that.

Temptation: I think some of you were thinking $21,860 for the white Sonata, but Chad wisely bailed out because he was way off the mark.

CoG: Easy.

1RP: Easy on paper, but I can see why it was lost- motorcycles can be overpriced, no matter what kind they are.

C-O: FANTASTIC car win in this game, Richard! That's the closest non-perfect difference in that PG in almost a decade!

P!: Another stinker of a playing.

Freeze Frame: I thought the Chicago trip was $6,111.

Showcases: I wonder how Richard would've done here- partly because he didn't make it up there, we have yet another DOB.

That C-O win saved the show, that's for sure.

Charles did a excellent job on Check-Out for the car.........and only 13 cents left, too! However, I really wanted him to go to the Showcase and not Natasha. After how she did on Freeze Frame, her going over on her SC wasn't that surprising. Either way, Freeze should never been loss like that, and I really hit the nail on the head when I knew that it was $7961 for the Chicago trip.

Sadly, Anthony didn't have much good luck on Plinko today only to leave here with just $100. But at least it wasn't a Stinko (For now................). However, he can do some good things with just a hundred bucks. For example:  ;D

CoG and ORP were easy enough, but much like Freeze, ORP shouldn't been a loss. Obviously the motorcycle was the right price.

Despite another DOB, it was a decent show, thanks solely to C-O, and it was good to see that being played for a car. I can only take so much from Pathfinder (Much less another loss from it, to say the least.............).

This was pretty much a stinker of a show today apart from that C-O win (lots of things were lost that were not meant to be lost, and there was a Stinko with oddly hard SPs - pretty frustrating day). Thankfully, that C-O was so excellent it made up for everything else! Just an extremely well played win on a tough setup, and not one of those wins that only happens because things balance out, either - he was genuinely close on every item. He even went against the nuts to his credit on that Gold Bond. Sad that C-O is so rare and when it does come out it still has to be to force a loss on a car, but it was nice to really stop that in its tracks today!

Timings:
Temptation (6) - 5:52
Coming Or Going (3.5) - 3:13
One Right Price (3.5) - 3:04
Check-Out (5.5) - 5:51
Plinko (5.5) - 5:26
Freeze Frame (4) - 3:16
Total (28): 26:42

This show was about 85% average or stinker and 15% awesomeness in the form of possibly the best playing of Check-Out I have seen since that one perfect playing--and on a tough high setup, to boot! That one segment really made up for the downer the rest of the show largely was.

But yeah, Natasha's ability to price things was sorely lacking. :P

I agree as well: Fantastic win on Check-Out today. :-)     (I lost playing at home.)

I don't blame the contestant for taking the gifts in Temptation. That set-up was quite a bit tougher than it could have been. (2 or 1? 9 or 8?)

That Check Out win is won of the most awesome wins of the season. It was worth watching this episode just to see the Check Out win. :)
Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.
