I loved this show. This show had so much more going on for it besides the pricing games and I love when that happens.

I loved Joesph's threat to Grant at IUFB 1. You know everybody's thinking it when it happens and it was funny because of the size difference between the two of them.

I loved seeing Pick-A-Pair 3rd. Even though it was difficult through the ying yang, I still enjoyed watching it. A rare hard setup is nice to see every once in a while.

I loved Cover Up because even though I knew from the jump she wasn't going to pick the 2 for the 4th column, the fact that she almost did and could have at anytime still kept me interested. And it is rare that I remain interested through an entire playing of Cover Up.

I loved Shell Game. First, I loved seeing it in the first place. Second, I loved Drew's hosting of it. Third, I loved how Drew's reveal played out. It was just an exquisite setup and even though it resulted in a loss it was so nice to see it hosted so well. I think this may have been the 1st time since the bonus was upped that Drew didn't mention the bonus at all.

I loved that Grant's spin stopped at .05, so that's what he went to the showcase with.

I loved the reveal of the car in the 1st showcase. A very nice change of pace and an excellent decision by Polito.

I just loved this show more than I should and I don't know why.

Shell Game was tough, but Cover Up was like watching a trainwreck in slow motion.  I swear I saw Rohnda get talked out of the 2 for the 4th digit at the very beginning.  Right then and there, I knew she was done if she avoided the two the rest of the game.  It still kept my interest, which is a small miracle given season 40's OD of that game.

Why is everyone so down on this show? This was by far the best show of the week and possibly this month. Don't keep letting W/L drag you down into a low grading on an episode.
Well, I didn't want to come off as down over today's show, but I guess I really jumped the gun, which led to striking a nerve or two, when RoadgeekAdam caught wind of this. Seems I need to rely more on how entertained I am when it comes to the contestants and not just on wins/losses.

This was a nice episode with some really bad luck.

It was definetely great to see Pick-a-Pair and Shell Game.

Am I the only one who is now missing Pathfinder?  :-)

Today was the first show I've seen back to front in months. Did anyone feel like the contestants, for the most part, were being extra obnoxious today? From the initial "I'm going to kill you!" comment during the first One Bid to Lorraine's constant over-exaggeration of her excitement to Stephanie's "this is so hard" whining during the Showcase Showdown, some of it got to be pretty grating.

One Wrong Price could have gone to either the gym or the pool table. What irritated me was Stephanie's post-game comment of "Oh, that was my third choice" in reference to the pool table. Way to make yourself look smart. :P

I've always maintained that the most logical way to play Pick-a-Pair is to just pick the two most expensive items there. I knew the dog food would be high priced and I figure the allergy relief would have been over $10.

Has there ever been a wider margin between the two bargains in Barker's Bargain Bar Game than there was today; a $1,500 gap between the two? Just seemed pretty wide.

I was pleased to see that Drew didn't mention the bonus in Shell Game - all four chips weren't earned so there was no reason to bring it up. I've seen him mention it early before and it ends up being a waste because all four chips aren't earned so I was pleased to see him omit that.

What I like about Drew's hosting of Cover Up is when it gets down to the final round of the game, instead of just asking "Is he/she right?", he'll reveal the price instead - I think it makes for a better reveal than just a buzzer or the winning dings.

Nice win on Bargain Game! :-)  Pretty blah other than that, win-loss wise, but not too bad overall, IMHO.

BTW, for those keeping track, if no car pricing games are won tomorrow, it will be a car game shut-out for the week.  Here's hoping for a car game win.

If Mike gets his way, it probably will happen (Which I won't be too surprised)............But I hope it won't be the case tomorrow.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who Joseph made a bit nervous.  Yes, it was clear he was joking, especially with how he was acting around Grant 10 minutes later, but there was still something very off about that whole thing, and I'm a little bit surprised they let it get on the air (seriously, with all the retakes they apparently do now, they let that go?).

Aside from that, though, this was another fantastic episode in a fantastic week.  There hasn't been such an enjoyable string of shows in ages.

That's ridiculous.
