Another 'Roo wipeout?!! I was really hoping we don't have to go through that again.

Bargain Game was pretty easy and the peanut gallery was a bit premature of their excitement, thinking that the scooter was the bigger bargain than the pool table. Shame on them for letting Mamie think that, as well...........At least she won a Spark, though.

The zero rule has resurfaced and fooled me again, this time on Temptation. Luckily she bailed out.

The rest of the games were practically easy set-ups, especially Make Your Move.

So far, another average show today.

Pretty average show as we continue to march out the hardest car games one by one this week, which is a bit annoying to watch. Nice to at least see some of the regular GPs getting played more now. Only thing I can take out of today: That California aircruise in SC2 was a new way of creating deceptively cheap trips - weird.

Timings:
Switcheroo (5.5) - 5:32
Bargain Game (3.5) - 3:06
Pick A Pair (4.5) - 3:40
Double Prices (3) - 3:02
Temptation (6) - 6:03
Make Your Move (4.5) - 4:23
Total (27): 25:46

Car game winners have been in short supply in the recent week, so they felt desperate to give one away in the showcase round.  Lucky there was no double-overbid.

Nice wins on Pick A Pair, Double Prices, and Make Your Move! :-)  Pretty blah other than that, IMHO.

What constitutes a nice win from a boring win?  Double Prices isn't exactly gripping television, and the other two were pretty easy...

A double zero in Switcheroo? 8-O

I see that Temptation has returned to the current-regime tactic of the gifts totaling over one-third the price of the car.
The above is my opinion and mine alone.

To answer your questions: yes, I am a guy and yes, I have a face. (I also have the occasional spurt of weirdness.)

I was shocked when I saw both Showcases had a Car in them. (Especially when the setups for cars have been especially ridiculously hard for some reason..) Why not just put the Spark into Double Prices and have a 3 car day! :P

Still, it was nice to see someone win a Car.

I see that Temptation has returned to the current-regime tactic of the gifts totaling over one-third the price of the car.

What is so bad about that? I remember a Season 34 playing where there was over $9,000 in Gifts for a $19,000 Van, almost one-half the price!

I think that $7,000 is a fair amount to "Tempt" someone into going for the $20,000 Car + Prizes.

Except that if you're producing the show correctly, you don't want contestants to take the gifts.  You want them to go for the car, because that's usually better television (and it's also usually better for the budget, since Temptation is lost most of the time).

When did I say anything contrary to that? I am fully aware of all that. I said $7,000 is a good amount to Tempt them to go for the Car, not a good amount to make them bailout instantly without any choice.

If I correctly understand what Steve has said in the past, and contrary to how Drew makes it sound, the gifts are not the temptation -- the car is.
The above is my opinion and mine alone.
