your favorite screwball Family Feud answer
« on: June 13, 2013, 09:19:04 PM »
By now it's a safe bet many if not most of us have seen all the crazy Feud answers on the various compilation shows; of all of them, encompassing all the shows, which ones would you call your own personal favorite?  My own choice would be the guy who thought a famous Willie would have to be "Willie the Pooh."

"During what month of pregnancy does a woman begin to look pregnant?"
"September."

That's the all time classic, and it was enough to make Richard Dawson lose it completely.

In a 1985 episode, Richard asked "Name something you might talk about with a stranger."  The contestant said "mutual friends" and Richard cracked a joke at it at first, but when the next face-off came around, he broke down laughing at the thought of having a conversation about someone one thinks a complete stranger also knows.

"Tell me how old you think Ronald Reagan looks."

"Eighty."

I wonder if Ronnie even knew that was going on...

But, it makes semi-sense. If you're at a party where you only know the host and possibly a few others, you could say "How do you know the host?" I understand that it still isn't that great of an answer, but still, there's been much worse.

One of my favorites would have to be "Name a yellow fruit": "Orange".  :oldlol: Also, the whole "How old are you?" moment was definitely hilarious, but that was multiple dumb answers.  :P

"Name a famous Peter."
"Peter."

"Name an article of clothing children always lose."
"Their pants."
"The price of a dozen roses"
"$1.75."
"Besides a bird, name something in a birdcage."
"Hamster."
(timer stops)
(beat) "Make a note of this show."

"Tell me a man's name that starts with the letter K."
"Kentucky Fried Chicken."

"Name something you bury in the backyard."
"Placenta."

"We asked 100 men...name a body part that's bigger than it was when you were 16."
"Your penis."

"Name something a burglar doesn't want to see when he enters a house."

"Naked Grandma!!"

And it was actually on the survey (Gun/Occupant)..........Even Steve Harvey was flabbergasted to notice that it was on there. Though that contestant didn't really have to say that, I thought that it was a very funny screwball answer.

My favorite "They accepted that?" reaction was when they accepted "Porn star" for "Actor".

How about when "Nookie" was given for "A word that rhymes with Cookie"? That got 23 points in Fast Money.

There was a question where Richard Dawson said "Name something made of leather....", which wasn't the complete question, and the contestant buzzed in and said "a purse". Richard said he would be slightly embarrassed when he finished the question, which was "Name something made of leather that a cowboy uses".  :oldlol:

"Name something that gets passed around"

"A joint" (which ironically ranked higher than the church collection plate!)

Today's rerun of Family Feud had another award-winning answer:

"Fill in the blank:  When I was a kid, we didn't have ____."

The contestant buzzed in and said "s***".  (It was on the survey as "any money".)
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".
