"I will not be coming around..."

From the Combs era: "Name a famous country western singer." "Van Waylon."
"YOU ON FAMILY FEUD! THIS AIN'T A COMEDY ROUTINE!"

Perhaps you should practice what you preach, Steve.

One of my favorites from Family Fortunes (UK)

Max: Name a slang term for money.
Old, sweet grandma: ... b!tch.
Max: b!tch? How can you call b!tch for money?
Old, sweet grandma: ... mommy?
Max: No, not mommy. Money!

q: name a character from mash?
c: schultz  (after hearing the answer, ray combs said he had one word for him, "hogans hero's.")

q: name something you find in an operating room?
a: an operator

q: name a type of bear?
a: papa bear

q: name something you take with you to a bath?
a: a duck (scored 11 points, to which richard dawson dropped to the floor)
all of this can be yours, if you can afford it.

"During what month of pregnancy does a woman begin to look pregnant?"
"September."

That's the all time classic, and it was enough to make Richard Dawson lose it completely.

I think that one is pretty up there along with the time a family member was asked "give me a time someone goes to bed." And the contestant said "night". Then to add insult to injury they were asked "give me a time someone gets up out of bed." And they said "morning".

But that one actually scored points!

EDIT:  Actually, I think those were the other way around.  He got 2 points for "night".
