I swear some of you guys are so intent on knocking every single thing the new staff does that you won't allow yourselves to see when they get something right.

I'm usually one of the ones supporting the new regime, which is why I tried to state my thoughts on the first page as coherently as possible.

One (in my eyes) misstep doesn't make me want to grab the torches and pitchforks.
Torgo has left the building. John and I never really cared for the way he presented himself.

So offering a 47k non-car/cash prize is "getting it right".

... Wow.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I don't really mind that the staff did what they did; they're clearly doing it to appeal to what they consider is the "main audience" for the show, and I can live with that. I'm just lamenting how much better last year's show was.

(And for what it's worth, I can't really tell when Drew's hosting "well" and when he's not, at least not as good as some people here can, so I can't judge a show based on that too much.)

One thing I noticed about both of the June specials; they didn't give any sort of bonus prize to the six IUFB winners - just to the audience as a whole.

The graduation specials gave the IUFB winners an iPad mini.

Was that in June?

(checks the calendar - "June 7")

So much for "both of the June specials"...
