Nice Pathfinder win today.

That cheese in Grandy was a shocker, or else I don't buy enough Easy Cheese. ;)

Time to give DX a break. It seems like they've been playing it a lot lately.

I don't mind if it's over played, but it does annoy me slightly how Drew keeps saying it's a pretty new game, even though it premiered about a whole calendar year ago.
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

Some really good contestants today.  At least the show is getting one thing right.  And the two best contestants were in the showcases!

Barbara looked really lost down there.  I'm not surprised she didn't make it on stage.

I'm pretty sure Pathfinder wasn't meant to be won.  4, 5, 6, and 7 as choices for the second number?  That does not allow an educated guess.  And of course, 9 instead of 0 for the last number.  And hard SP's.  Great win!!

Grand:   The most unfair setup I have ever seen.  At least we saw a casher 6th.

Eazy as 1-2-3: Lost, thanks to the peanut gallery

Any number: Great win! Nearly swept the game!

Double cross: Easy win, as it is most of the time

Flip flop: Good win!

Pathfinder: I'm sure Mike didn't expect this to be won. SURPRISE!

Grand game: Curse the evil Easy Cheese!

3 cars won today? Looks like Richards is back to the corner.  :-D

THE BAD NEWS:

Easy As 1-2-3: In Rosalee's defense, it was the audience's fault. She had the right order and then, they had to butt in and make her change it. For shame, peanut gallery...........

Grand Game: Who in their right mind would waste $4.79 on processed cheese?!!! That was a horrible setup for Jennifer. And talk about a total GARF.........

THE GOOD NEWS:

Double Cross: Good job by Derrick!

Flip Flop: Easy win by Wilzetta.........BTW, Roadgeek Adam, the actual price is $5743.

Pathfinder: At the beginning, I feared the worst when Joel had to play it for a Camaro, but he had one helluva good stride........Some detours, but he truly prevailed!

A#: Cristina almost had a clean sweep, but she played that incredibly and won another car on her SC!

4/6 wins and all 3 cars were won............Good show today!

Eazy: I really thought Rosalie had that won.

AN: Well done, Cristina!

DC: Not too bad, even though the audience wasn't that sold on Derrick's final answers.

F-F: I would've wrongly Flopped.

Pathfinder: Joel better thank Ashley for sneaking a Camaro past Mikey- WTG!!!

Grand: Having this won plus both car games was just too much to ask for- I knew that Easy Cheese was going to sink Jennifer & I didn't like that she chose that right away.

Showcases: I knew Cristina had it in the bag after she made her bid- she was on a roll for almost the whole show!

One of the best shows this season, IMO!

Was Grand Game that unfair?  I mean, I'd have lost, but I never use that stuff.  Lots of people like that fake cheese spray, and likely would have known it was expensive, though.  No idea why fake cheese spray would be so expensive, but enough people buy it that it was reasonably winnable, unless that stuff is usually far cheaper.  I'll need to check it the next time I go grocery shopping, just out of curiosity.

I was actually happy to see that difficult Grand come up because I would have been annoyed if we had lost perfection on an Eazy where the contestant had the right answer at first but changed her mind. That would have been the closest we've come since 2/12/10. Of course the most impressive win of today's show is Pathfinder, where others have already pointed out everything difficult about it. It was a good fair setup for the game because at least if you're going to make the price so difficult, the SPs should be fair, and they were, but this was still definitely not an easy one. I thought the contestant was done for too as soon as he said 27k! I don't know what made him immediately go to the other extreme. This isn't Gas Money :)

Other than that, though, another generally well hosted show, and this time with a fairly enjoyable lineup and results, and no outrageous prizes. Nothing spectacular but certainly well above expectations for June.

Timings:
Eazy as 123 (4) - 4:26
Any Number (5) - 4:22
Double Cross (4) - 3:33
Flip Flop (3.5) - 3:32
Pathfinder (6) - 5:37
Grand Game (5) - 4:28
Total (27.5): 25:58

Eazy Az 123:  Darn audience! >:(
Any Number, Double Cross, Flip Flop:  Nice wins! :-)
Pathfinder:  Wow, this and That's Too Much won in the same week - a refreshing change! :-)
Grand Game:  They didn't want that $10,000 won, IMO.

Good show overall, IMHO.

Well, I'll give credit, this turned out to be a very good show. The setups weren't too bad either through the first four, then a standard Path (still overly hard, but won this time!), and a normal Grand.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

FYI, that $24,839 Camaro is the fourth most-expensive car ever won in daytime on Pathfinder & the biggest since the $25,873 Buick Regal on 12/9/98 (which still holds the daytime record).

Well, that was a fun show.

Impressive Any # win; she only put one number in the piggy bank at the start and then swept the car numbers immediately afterwards. (Worth noting that if you tried to hover around $24K for the price of the car, you could have easily swept the piggy bank...)

It's also nice to see contestants not get tripped up into thinking car prices had to end in -0 (or -5). It not only helped Cristina in A#, but it also helped Joel in a brilliantly-played Pathfinder. Though I still wonder what his thought process was that convinced him to try to go from $27K to $24K without trying any numbers in between; I mean, sure, that helped him a lot, but still, that's quite a jump to make in any game. Well, it really worked out for him, that's for sure. (It does look like he got his help from an LFaT, or at least someone somewhat familiar with Mike's tricks.) (Also, -9 isn't that hard, so that helped both games. Reasonable SPs in Pathy helped a lot, too.)

I'm sure the cheese would have tripped up most contestants in Grandy sooner or later, but yeah, choosing it first on the basis of "I'm from Wisconsin; it must be cheap!" is... not exactly logical. :P

You know, I don't know how Eazy az 1 2 3 was lost...but I'm almost glad it was, considering that that would have resulted in five wins in a row and there was no way in hell anybody was going to win Grand Game.  That maybe be the single meanest setup I've ever seen in that game.

Any Number and Pathfinder were both fantastic.  It was wonderful to have two such exciting wins on the same show.
