Now I can understand why Mike would change the Spark price on L7, seeing that not too many contestants would say 0 on that game, but what I don't understand why a price of $14923 had to look a little evil, much less put it on L7. Rather they put that on Let 'Em Roll instead.

Once again, someone went bold on Temptation this season (*sighs*)..........Seems Shanetta was a bit questionable about that price of the Mini Cooper.

And don't get me started on Plinko.

On the bright side, it was nice to see Bonkers and it was to have it won.

Basically the winning bulk of the show was mostly trips (aside from the other prizes on OWP, and Balance), and a no-car-win show was the one thing Mike wanted, seeing that he might be a little ticked off from yesterday. How unfortunate for us..............

Hope tomorrow will be better, seeing that Check Game is coming back.

And HERE's the standard budget June show. Thing is, this was very watchable due to Drew actually putting a lot of effort into these last couple taping weeks. And Bonkers showing is always a plus too. On the other hand, the directing was noticeably bad today, with abrupt cuts everywhere, an obviously edited OB3, and coming back from commercial to OB4 showing the entire Race Game curtain. While Adam learns the ropes, things could be rough for awhile, but it shouldn't have to be this way. Ugh.

Does anyone know what the lowest % of gifts related to car price ever in Temptation is? Because today has to rank up there with just $3083 in gifts for a 23k car. This isn't a problem, especially since they used to lean the other way, but it did make me wonder how long it's been since so little in gifts was offered. It did its job too, making the contestant go for the car and get that easy June Temptation loss.

Plinko continues to be cursed the second half of this season...

Timings:
Bonkers (4.5) - 3:42
One Wrong Price (3.5) - 3:20
Temptation (6) - 6:40
Plinko (5.5) - 5:40
Bargain Game (3.5) - 3:06
Lucky $even (4.5) - 4:22
Total (27.5): 26:50

What a fun show today. I don't get to watch a lot, but this reminded me of the days of old. Drew was utterly on point today. Absolutely on point. If he hosted like he did today each day, there would be much less controversy around here. And the contestants behaved themselves like adults today.

Speaking of contestants, Maxine has to be one of the most memorable contestants in my recent memory. Her reaction to playing Plinko and the audience chanting her name at the big wheel...winning $1000...then going back for more chanting...this is The Price is Right I grew up on!

L7 was a bummer. When Laura said 9 for the second to last number, I thought she was going to pull a fast one on Mike. Too bad she stayed high on the last number. I would have said 2 and won for the last pick.

Speaking of the bad editing today, what was up with the final call down today (I believe it was when Lilie was called down). I've seen some bad editing, but I can shrug it off. I don't usually notice the smaller things. But there was a moment where contestant is called...we see her start to get up...Drew welcomes her to contestants row...then we cut to her coming down. That isn't just bad editing. That's something I'd expect from a middle schooler in iMovie. Just awful...it was quite jarring.

But that's about as far as my complaints go. Great show!

Anyone else notice that no one in contestant's row overbid today?

I would have lost the car in Temptation as well, since I also would have gone for it with a bid of $23495.

Nice Bonkers win.

Maybe it's just me (I like the number), but I thought it was pretty cool to see the big "14" in Lucky $even again after so long. :)

Great win in Bonkers.  I never would have thought a trip to Argentina would cost at least $8,000!

Tempy:  Contestants have to realize that they only have a 1 in 16 chance of completely winning the game.  Although the prizes were pretty cheap today.

I'm amazed how obvious Bargain Game was.  I was almost thinking that the right answer was the accessories, just to be counterintuitive.

L7: Too bad.  I actually would have guessed 3 for the last number... then again, I wouldn't have gotten that far.  :-P

[Adam - slight error... she had only $2 left for the last number in L7  :-) ]

That would be the case if the contestant's choose 1 of two possible digits from the price of each of the four gifts at random. Sometimes the second digit is fairly easy to get without guessing, at least.
