I really thought we were going to have the comeback of the season in Pocket ˘hange, with Drew revealing the two halves first. I thought the 75˘ or $2.00 card would be in one of the last two envelopes, but it was not to be.

PC: Kathy Ann clearly beat herself- if she had not grossly overpriced that Dart, she would've won it.

Pathfinder: Very unusual nowadays to see cars other than MINI Coopers end in -5 even though it had paint/fabric protection.

Pathy was pretty evil today.  If she had gotten to the 1, her four options were -80, -85, -90, or -95.  That's not cool, given all the options the car had on it.

Po˘ket ˘hange and Check-Out were heartbreaking today.

At least we didn't see Stack on this make-good.

Were we watching the same show?
Typo. :P

But yes, underpricing really was the killer there. More than 1.50 and still lost, that's actually really disappointing (and I think we had a .75 required loss too, why couldn't we switch those required totals today?).

On the other hand, the expected Grand & common car were C-O and Pocket, so even though ye olde Path showed, this lineup wasn't too bad at all.

C-O has had a tough season. Hopefully it gets back on track next season, and I think it will, just a lot of tossup setups that we're just barely missing on.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Nothing but heartbreak from C-O, Pocket, and Pathfinder...............and easy wins from Switch, Pushover and OWP.

I'd elaborate more on this but it was too much of a uber-bore.......

Push Over, One Wrong Price (again!), Switch?:  Nice wins! :-)
Pocket Change:  That last envelope being only $.05 was a stone bummer.
Check Out:  IMO, the ARPs of the Jell-O & the Triscuits were a little high.
Pathfinder:  Evil, IMO.

Not too bad overall, IMHO.

Average show is average overall, with Drew in one of his rougher hosting periods, but at least the lineup was better than expected here. It seems the general trend in C/O late season has been to have 4 fairly priceable items followed by 1 expensive killer. That is a nice subtle way to force a loss and perhaps better than putting a bunch of killers in there - that is how you do it so we don't complain! As for Pocket, it was disappointing to see her get such a high envelope total and still come up short, but at the same time, she thought a Dodge Dart was 14k, so what can I say?

Today really showed why that $400 vacuum shouldn't be in Path. Even with a fake $150 lower, it was still a problem. Would be interesting to see what resulted if the choices were $263/$400 (or some other weird number), but I bet $263 still gets picked. They went a different route today to make Path hard, focusing on the SPs. The price wasn't nearly as hard as usual with nonconsecutive numbers and a nice cushy -85 ending (if you got that far). See, they do know how to set some games up, just not all of them...

Timings:
Push Over (4) - 3:10
Pocket Change (5) - 6:02
One Wrong Price (3.5) - 3:28
Check-Out (5.5) - 5:47
Switch? (3.5) - 3:12
Pathfinder (6) - 5:15
Total (27.5): 24:54

I haven't posted on here in ages, but I just have to comment this time... One Wrong Price again?!  I realize the shows this week are not airing in their taping order (to put it mildly), but OWP three days in a row and four out of the last six days is a bit much.

It's out of their control. It's been an odd season with a lot of leftovers and it's time to air them.

Clearly this is the secret 2nd PCH week, OWP week. Correctly send in the one wrong price from that day's show along with the e-mail address you use with your ISP, and you'll be entered in to win a special PCH miniature OWP Price set.
