Isn't there a whole section in the FAQ to describe partial wins? Sounds like gray to me.

I know what the FAQ says, thank you.  I'm not really talking about what the FAQ says, but what the members of this site say.  And a whole lot of them tend to insist every game is either fully won, or it's lost.

Horrible show, IMHO.  The only silver lining I can see is that there was no double overbid in the Showcase.  Here's hoping that tomorrow's show is a lot better than today's.

The skunking means this episode gets a grade of F.
Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.

It's not a skunk because $100 was not won on punch.

Yeah, today was a skunking, any way you slice it.  In Punch-A-Bunch you are going to win money unless you get no prices correct.  I don't see how it's even debatable unless the contestant would have won $10K or maybe even $5K, and even then it wouldn't have been considered a win.

It's absolutely debatable.  Punch a Bunch is only considered a full loss if the contestant either wins the lowest amount on the board or doesn't win any punches.

The skunking means this episode gets a grade of F.

Don't start this again.  If you're going to post in the recap threads, put some thought into it.

(Yes, I know I'm coming in very late here.  What can I say?  I'm two shows behind.)
