It makes me wonder if the season premieres of the show when Bob Barker hosted were more elaborate than this.

Hopefully this season will produce more wins as it goes on.

I don't see the point in offering the cash amount of the difference.  Other than that, the game is fine.

Now, if only we could have that cash amount be in Magic # as well, then maybe that might help improve its win %!

Yes.  Often very much so.

Opening logo

New light border

Title card

Drew's entrance

Yeah, I'll have to agree with the people saying 'overproduced.' The 'light box' would look decent without those giant dollar signs, which need to just disappear from everything, while the logos except for the third image just feel excessive. I guess I'd need to see the final image actually in motion to appreciate it, though.

Thank you for getting these.
I'll put this in here, but I didn't want it to overshadow the more interesting topic of specials. Earlier in the show Mike and Beth talked about Jenny McCarthy's appointment to The View and it leads to Mike talking about her appearance on Price. Mike says that he and the staff mulled over whether or not to have her on the show because of the controversy that follows her. They ultimately decided to have her because she's "a great advocate for what she believes in." Now, Mike didn't specify exactly what he meant by "what she believes in" and what "belief" of her's that he's addressing, but that could certainly be taken the wrong way.

The new light border may very well be impossible to do a good rendition of since it's hard to determine a set pattern based on what I've seen so far. Two rows of lights that don't chase nicely. They just fade into the next. I don't understand how they could possibly think that looks good.

Wouldn't it take a lot of watching the border to study the detail? Perhaps a simpler rendition could be done, but based on the current border.

Just a note to Adam: The Show Winnings are $52,741. (1154+1802+7599+1678+2785+8846+28877). I believe what you did was (1154+1802+7599+1678+2785+8846+30031), when 30,031 is not the Showcase value, but the Showcase and Wanda's previous winnings. Adding her winnings twice results in $53,895.

“For the premiere of season 30, CBS wanted to do a special primetime show. However, they asked that we also add a gimmick or a twist to make it truly special. I came up with the suggestion of taking the show on the road for the first time in its history." - Roger Dobkowitz
