It's not the first time someone won the showcase showdown on a spinoff with a dime.

I won't add my BAD NEWS/GOOD NEWS today, but the only thing that was good was Errin's playing of Plinko. Been a while since it had more than just piss-poor winnings........Although I was surprised to see that again after Mike's little stunt from last week. When you devote a Price show to just one PG and have it played six times, you would at least give it time to rest.............Maybe a month or so.

Funny enough, I wish Michelle, who wore that "Girls Gone Plinko" shirt, was playing Plinko instead of L7.....But that's just me.

BOTTOM LINE:

The much to say is that Plinko stopped this show from being any more worse, much like from Halloween 2009, but today made more winnings. As for Carla, I think she did OK, but I did thought she might've jinxed today's show. It seems unusual that anyone from B&B would come in and cause bad luck, case in point........But I'm sure that's just a coincidence. However, when it comes to this guest model nonsense, I can take it or leave it. At least the tension was cut like a knife on the 2nd SCSD..........Surprised that all it took was a dime for Eric to advance.

Oh well, better luck tomorrow. Wait a minute, next week is PCH Week where Drew might repetitively say "$20,000" like last season. Damn..................

...And this is why I hate Let 'Em Roll.  It's a guaranteed $500 win every time they play it.  Maybe it should be retired? :hammer:

It's amazing that Errin accomplished in two Plinko chips today what could not be accomplished last week across six playings of Plinko.

Not a whole lot was won on this show, and some pretty weird decisions were made on top of it in games that should have been won. But it was pretty darn enjoyable anyway. Drew was vastly improved over yesterday, and really helped move this show along. It's REALLY nice to see that "stop the clock" has re-entered his vocabulary in Clock Game, and today was a perfect use of that (although what was up with the weird edit at the end? There should not be crowd noise during Clock Game!) But while Clock Game bottomed out, it was funny in a sad way. Then LER and Plinko were actual enjoyable playings. It was nice to see a contestant actually get the tough grocery right - it reminded me how exciting 3-roll playings can be as opposed to 2, even when they do in a loss. And then Plinko was just amazing. Nothing will glue me to the TV for the last 3 chips like both of the first two chips going in 10k, to emphatically multiply the winnings of the previous part of the show. It's a shame those didn't work out to maybe set some records, but it was exciting anyway. This is what they wanted to happen at least once last Friday, but karma decided to laugh at them even more. Then, the results of the second showcase showdown were just hilarious on top of that - some entertaining moments today. I know it looks blah, but don't delete it from your DVR based on the win/loss record. This is a perfect example of how not only do you not need gimmicks, you sometimes don't even need many wins to make a show good if Drew is up to par. (You do need fair setups, but today's did feel fair except L7, they just weren't won.)

The one black mark on this show was L7. I really don't know whose decision it was to play it twice in a week, but let's avoid that please. If it was forced into this lineup (which, standing on its own, is actually a great lineup front to back) just to get a loss, let's avoid that. Last year, it took us until Thanksgiving to see LER, while we'd already seen Path twice after 2 weeks. We've improved on both those - let's hope Adam keeps it going.

Let Em Roll:  Bummer! :-(
Clock Game:  IMO, Eric should've been given the bicycle, the trip, and the $1,000.  Yes, Drew did stop the clock, but, IMO, he should've stopped the clock 5 seconds before he did.
Plinko:  Errin did so well on the first 4 chips that I thought she was gonna break the record - and then she chickened out on the last chip.  What a let-down.  Great haul, though.

Not the best way to end the week, IMHO, but it still could've been worse.

See if it was me hosting I would've asked if he could get 6 or 7 seconds back because I got confused and had no idea what the heck he was trying to bid!

You know I know everyone has been concerned about Manuela and Amber but there's one thing I want to know, where the heck is Gwendolyn? I haven't had too much of a problem yet with the celeb models, but I'm not getting why she's not there.

Having Make Your Move and Clock Game back to back probably shouldn't happen again.  With the addition of the "bonus" prize, the reveals are way too similar.

Drew's best moment in quite some time was deciding to stop the clock to allow Erick some time to regroup.

I would have been able to guess 8 and 9 to win Lucky $even if I was in the same position as Michelle.

...And this is why I hate Let 'Em Roll.  It's a guaranteed $500 win every time they play it.

Today was a full loss, which is always pretty interesting since 95% of the time you are going to get at least a partial win with LER.

FYI, I haven't watched this episode yet... I thought there was a strict "Audience must remain dead silent" rule in force for Clock Game, with the penalty for breaking that rule being an automatic ejection from Studio 33... incidentally, are there any confirmed instances of someone being tossed out of a taping for talking during Clock Game? I'd like to think most people would be smart enough to heed the warnings from the host.

On March 10, 2000's show, Bob asked someone to be removed from the audience because they shouted out a bid during Clock Game.

I know the mixing up of the tape dates vs. air dates is responsible for this, but, does it seem like a bit of a bummer to anyone else that Lucky $even was just seen on the show three days ago? And after the all Plinko show last Friday, would it have been a travesty to not see the game this week?

Let 'em Roll was set-up rather tricky; I think the instinct might have been to go higher on the allergy tablets. Too bad he only managed $500 by the end. Most Expen$ive would have worked out better if the game was Least Expen$ive. Make Your Move was kind of lame - I personally would have thought the scooters were $7,865, but, $7,178 or $8,,658 also seemed to make sense. Clock Game was a bad outing - poor guy just got so flustered he couldn't get his bearings and it ended up costing him the full win. As ho-hum as it was seeing Lucky $even twice in one week, the price of the car was pretty bad. At least a solid $20,000 win in Plinko helped up the winning feeling for this show... now where was this playing of Plinko last Friday?

Drew didn't do anything wrong with his responses to Eric's prices. Eric was just all over the place and got completely bungled. Drew isn't required to stop the clock at all. I think he's lucky to have won just the luggage.

It was good of Drew to specify that the Allegra was only a 5-count box. Contestants can't always tell that from far away, and few think of going up for a closer look, so in cases like this where the price depends on the specifics of what's inside, I think it's good to have the host remind the contestant of that information.

It was also good of Drew to stop the clock for Eric on Clock Game, which was something Bob would do. Not that it helped him much.

I think we won more from today's one game of Plinko than we won from all of All-Plinko Day's Plinko games. Go figure.

And the 10-5 spinoff strikes again!
