(see previous posts I've made criticizing George for acting goofy while modeling prizes in Most Expen$ive)

Otherwise, decent show today. I had to laugh at Drew's comment that people win It's in the Bag all the time. Sure, he's going to say it to put the contestant at ease, but, it's just not true. I thought El Cheapo would cost him the win in Money Game; good thing it was a decoy. $3,618 was the only price that looked right for the computer in Double Cross. Coming or Going could have gone either way, so, good for her on being lucky. Rat Race was almost a shut-out until a lucky pick with the pink rat (which was also the one I picked).

Otherwise, trips, boats and cars for the showcases. I miss the Port 'O Price. At least they both had three prizes in them.
Ditto.......That's another thing that needs to come back.

Pretty good win record today, though that's helped by the quickies pretty much being slam-dunks (though ME was still lost in spite of that). Bag seemed to have a tough setup with those Brussels sprouts, so I doubt there was a real danger of $36,000 being given away there... in fact, I'd hazard that we'll see the same with any other cash games this week.

The big highlight is both car games being won, with a good pick on Money and a lucky selection in the Rat Race. The 4/6 mark is almost enough to make you forget it's a lame special week. Almost.

I forgot to put in my earlier post that I'm glad that Coming or Going's trip was behind one of the doors instead of being on the screen in the back of the audience.

Yeah, this actually ended up being a pretty good show. It's been a while since Bag was that rough with the third prize, though; usually, that one isn't that hard to figure out even if it's not the gimmes that the first and second prizes are.

Anyways, a 4/6 with both car games won is nice, especially with the one rat win on Rat Race. It was also cool to see the car + $20K winner also win a car in the showcase and clean up.

Well, this show should've been a 5-out-of-6 win, because Most expensive was easy, and unfortunately, the contestant's brain fried and went to the least expensive (which was the treadmill).

It's In the Bag is a whole different story.

Also, Double Cross seems to be the most winnable game up to this point besides Double Prices, which makes sense in a way, as you only have a 50-50 chance, along with Side-By-Side and Coming or Going, which was won, too.

As for Rat Race... I thought a shutout was coming, especially with a painful $1.01 at the first item.  The last one (which was the pink one, of all things ) saved the day.  Next time, go for the green.  Anyways, nice job on Rat Race.

Now, we do have 5 cash games: IITB, PAB, 1/2 Off, Grand Game and Plinko.

So, if things keep up, 1/2 Off will be played tomorrow, and Plinko will be played on Friday, all while being on PCH week...

I know I've said it before, but holy good Lord is there too much blue light on that set now.  The overhead shot of It's in the Bag today really drove it home -- when the shot makes the pricing game look incidental to the lights, you've got a problem.

Also, I don't think I can dance around being blunt about this anymore -- Adam is a horrible director.  He keeps doing that same shot at the beginning of two- and three-prize games, and it keeps not working.  I don't really know who they should put in that job, but it needs to not be him.

Well, Scott, there's your answer -- they played It's in the Bag first. :P

Most Expen$ive was probably supposed to be won.

You know what's really awkward to see right after somebody wins a car in Money Game?  A bunch of people running out from in front of a different car.

The end of Rat Race was incredible.  I still can't quite believe that was won.

Now, we do have 5 cash games: IITB, PAB, 1/2 Off, Grand Game and Plinko.

As nice as it may be to forget about it, there's also Pay the Rent.

This had never dawned on me until you mentioned it, Steve.  Is there a reason the PCH Pedovan has to be there?

PCH Pedovan

Let's not have this said again.  This is wrong on many, many levels.

I felt bad for Cameron during It's In the Bag.  I personally thought his setups were right.  That was an evil setup.
