Christmas show ?
« on: October 09, 2013, 07:19:01 PM »
Finally after all these years I am going to LA for my 40th birthday and going to TPIR.  I have general tickets for the 11/12 show (my actual birthday).  What are my chances of actually getting in?  What time do I have to start lining up?  I have priority tickets of the 11/11 show too.  Do you need to line up early with the priority tickets?

As is stated on the priority tickets, as long as you show up by the time on the ticket, your admission is guaranteed.

For general tickets, that's not the case, though as long as you arrive relative early, you should be able to get in.

And because they don't tell you this, the priority ticket line is the line heading north on Fairfax outside the gate.  The general ticket line is the line at the other end of the gate heading south.
Roger Dobkowitz's Seven Commandments of The Price Is Right:
1. Tape and edit the show as if it were live.
2. Never tell the contestant what to do.
3. Size matters. (The bigger the prize, the better the prize and the bigger the reaction.)
4. All prizes are good.
5. Never do anything on the show that would embarrass a parent with a kid watching.
6. Never put on a prize that would make the show look cheap.
7. It’s the game, stupid! (It’s about the game.)
