Willy may refute me on this, but I believe that today was the most screwed-up and most unexpected lineup in FPG history.  It started out normally with Bargain and Cover... but that was no normal Cover playing.  That surprise win screwed up almost everybody's scores.  (Everybody except SteveGavazzi, who always puts wins on all of his guesses.)  It went completely downhill after that.  Adam threw out Shell, Move, Gas, and Side.  What did Adam get out of this lineup, anyway?

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Every one of those four games was picked by exactly one person.  Under the classic FPG rules, four players would have won the I Stopped the Dob! bonus.  That is almost certainly an FPG record.  I know that two and three games from a lineup have each been picked by one person in the past.  Both of those events have happened since I took over the hosting job.  But I don't ever recall four in one lineup.

Actually, four players won't be winning a $50,000 bonus this week.  Only two players will.  123123123 gets $50,000 for picking Shell and UniquePerspective gets $50,000 for picking Move.  Unique needed that $50,000 because he lost all of his PA money from a bad all-in move.  In fact, everybody who went all-in this week crashed and burned.

But the reason why only two players get $50,000 is because one person nailed TWO SOLOS FOR $100,000!  ShatterMySoul99 picked both Gas and Side.  Not only did he pick both games, he put both of them in the correct slots and correctly predicted their outcomes.  That makes him this week's runaway gold medalist.

Perhaps I should always make my FPG picks while intoxicated at the last minute after almost forgetting to do it after a long horrible night at work, it seems to have paid off this week!

Here here! That's what it has come down to. Did we do something to displease Adam?

I mean I'm certainly cool with Shell showing. That's always great because it's rare anyway. Plus, it was nice that Line 'Em Up didn't rear its ugly head again as it somehow inexplicably did back in December. But Gas and Side? Really? Honestly?

If Magic # doesn't show up on a Friday, I will not be pleased.
