Clock Game---Nice win by Cheryl.

Let Em Roll---The Gold Bond tripped up Donald.  I knew it was higher.  However, Donald got the car with his two rolls.  Oh one little thing--DON'T throw one dice at a time, DO dump all of them at the same time.

Half Off--Brent breezed through the SPs.  But when it came to the remaining boxes--it was TOUGH.  Any one of them could have the $10,000.  I went with 5, Brent went with 4.  Brent won!  Shows how much I know...oh well.

Pick a Number---it was down to 3 or 8 in my honest opinion.  Denise picked 3.  I thought 3 as well.  We were BOTH WRONG.

Card Game---That Jeep looks $19,000 to me.  Sharon, I'm disappointed in you---you SHOULD have gone a little further.

Switch---Pretty easy for Vernon.  The prices were mixed up, so switching is the way to go.

Showcases---Showcase 1: Denise, WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU THINKING?  I along with the peanut gallery were disappointed.
Showcase 2: Decent bid by Donald.

Donald cleaned house today with over $35,000 in prizes.

Clock Game: Great win by Cheryl.

Let Em' Roll: I knew that Gold-Bond was higher. And he should've gotten that one dice back there and dump all 5 of them at the same time. All in all though it ended with him getting the car.

1/2 Off: I cautiously went with Brent which is #4 and it payed off for both of us.

Pick-A-Number: I knew it was the 8 there. I don't know what Denise was thinking picking that 3.

Card Game: Talk about stopping way too soon. No way Sharon was even near to the price of the car.

Switch: Switching was the right thing. Simple as that.

Showcases: Although she didn't went over I knew it was definitely not Denise's day today especially when you bid way too low. Donald deserved to be the big winner.

To be honest the selection of contestants though they were happy were just not really interesting.

Cheryl played Clock Game in an okay fashion.  I don't know why she skipped the six hundred teens, but her bids met but not exceeded $1,000.  This was a nice way to start things off.

I guess Bob did not notice that Donald was about to roll one cube alone, I'm suprised that Bob let the car rolled stay.  Well, it helped Donald win a new car!  I noticed that the old GP labels were used today, is this going to be permanent?

The SPs in ½ Off were really easy today.  I was afraid that we would have a loss with the cash being in box #5.  Brent's reaction was not what I would have expected when he won.

I really did not like Card Game today, as Sharon was told by the audience to stop at almost $15,000.  I wonder if she considered going further.

Vernon was fun to watch as he won those two trips in Switch?, which was an easy setup today.

I would think that Denise would increase her bid from $13,000.  I was amazed that she decreased her bid.  As Bob was going to ask to reveal Donald's showcase, I think I heard Denise say "I think I'm over."
"Cherish the past, accept the present, and anticipate the future.  They are listening to feedback wherever feasible, but they can't repeat the past."

Clock Game: EXCELLENT playing!

Let Em' Roll: I'm not surprised the final product tripped up Donald, because this game was played for a more expensive car than normal today. But what happened on the first roll was kinda hilarious!

Half Off: The second pair of items were tough. But it was navigated through, and this game was won for the first time outside of the #4 spot!

Pick a Number: The audience was right, but the player was wrong.

Card Game: TERRIBLE playing.

Switch?: Tough, but won!

Showcases: Denise's bid was a sucidial one, needless to say.

Overall: Good, if unspectacular, show today.

Clock Game: Great Playing!

Let Em Roll?  Interesting to see Donald roll 1 cube on the first roll.

Half Off: Easy SP.  I thought Brent would lose by picking 4.  I was Wrong.

Card Game: That Jeep HAD to be $18,000, which was my bid.  $14,500 wasn't going to cut it.

Switch: Switching was the only way to go.

Showcases: #1 is Garf of the Year.  I said $24,000.  $12K? That's more consistent with 1981.

Overall: A fairly good show to lead us into the Super Bowl weekend.

PG #1:  Clock Game without "Rye Bred"?

PG #2:  Nice win, despite having only two rolls to do it.

PG #4:  Well, there's one way to ensure that there won't be a perfect show--throw PA# out there.  I would've picked the 8 just cuz I've seen that piano on this show enough times.

PG #5:  And even if PA# had been won, this was way #2 to prevent a perfect show.  I'm getting tired of these Card Game garfs.

PG #6:  I would've kept those prices just cuz Sedona has been notoriously expensive in the past.

Showcase #1:

My showcase bids:
FRTS--$25,239
Random room--$15,201
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Does anyone know what happened during SS#1?  Seems like a lot of editing, odd camera angles, and very faint sound at times. Would love to hear from someone who was at the taping to tell us what was up.

Thanks to those of you who said I played the Clock Game well :)
I don't know how often contestants come on the boards, but I wanted to say "Hi!" I studied this site a lot before I went and would've been able to tell you how much a jar of Smucker's jelly costs.
Lol, I have no idea why I skipped those numbers-I was lucky to be thinking well enough at all to play that game-I had been up about 33 hours straight before that point (got there at 12:30 a.m., and slept about 3 hours the night before that-Final exams). I ironically commented to my friend-"if there is some crazy chance we get on stage, hopefully we won't get that clock game...I wouldn't be able to focus!"
I hadn't even noticed Bob had accidentally said "higher" once when he should've said "lower," but I was still able to finish alright.
The other contestants were REALLY nice-Donald was so much fun and if I heard correctly he had been to a number of tapings before that as well.

Yeah, poor Denise-who knows what she was thinking...maybe Donald was just meant to win :)
Anyways! I hope everyone is doing well-and if you're in a state with bad weather, be safe.
Take care,
~Cheryl

Cheryl (FruitySpirit9), congrats on your win---you definitely deserved it.  Felt bad that the big wheel was NOT friendly to you, but however, you did fine.

Congradulations Cheryl! That was a pretty good playing of Clock Game you did! I would probably crack under pressure  .

Let em Roll - Nice win there.

Half Off - #4 AGAIN!!! This time someone actually picked it.

Pick a Number - I wouldve picked 3 also.

Card Game - Sharon stopped too early. I am just waiting for a 4door Jeep Wrangler to appear.

Switch? - Good win.

Showcases - Poor Denise, she was a great contestant but wasnt doing to well today. She was a really good sport when Donald had won

Grade: 7.5/10

Hello, Cheryl. Nice to hear from a contestant and learn about their TPIR experience! Great playing of Clock Game by the way.

Was hoping for another perfect show today, but it was pretty decent anyway. Awesome win on Let'Em Roll! I was afraid he'd goofed going on, but I probably would've done the same.

Great playing for 1/2 Off as well.

Card game was just sad...

Had this feeling we'd see Switch? today after seeing Double Prices earlier in the week. My hunch was right.

Another great show to wrap up the week!

Does anyone know what happened during SS#1?

Hey! Not sure exactly what you are referring to, I'm not a camera/editing wiz, I'll have to watch it over...but there was something that they cut out. Hope I'm allowed to talk about this-

Since I only spun 20 cents I think Bob assumed I was out of it because when Brent was spinning, he said to Donald, (paraphrased) "Now if he goes over, you are automatically in the showcase" and when he DID go over Bob offered Donald a spin to try and get the dollar...of course the producers finally caught his attention and he corrected the mistake.

Hope that helps
Blessings,
~Cheryl
P.S. haha, as far us us not being "interesting" I thought we were pretty neato ;-) I wish the older lady could've got on stage. I tried to be interesting during my interview and made up a rhyme to try and make myself standout- it included "Californ I A" and "Music City U.S.A" Afterwards the producer was like "...American Idol is filmed over there" :-)

Congratulations on your Clock Game win Cheryl. That was fantastic. What made it even better for me was to see someone living in the great state of Tennessee win since that is where i'm at. Again congratulations Cheryl.

Overall this was a great show today with some great wins and a pretty good pg lineup (discounting Pick a Number). Great way to end the week.
