The show has aired, ergo the embargo is lifted. Welcome to the bunch. Expect a spinning gold star below your name presently.

Afterwards the producer was like "...American Idol is filmed over there" :-)

And it will be again in a few weeks. Brandi's a big fan.

Cheryl, on behalf of all of us at Golden-Road.net, I shall present you with a TPiR Alumnus gold star!  Welcome to the site!  :-D

While I'm posting this, I guess I better throw in my 2 (well, I did win a free ticket, got another one, but didn't win anything) losing $20 Georgia's $500 Million Club scratcher tickets on the show.

Clock Game:  Great job gal!

Let 'em Roll:  Nice!  I was actually wanting the contestant to keep the $3K.......but I'm glad to see he got those 2 last cars to win.

Card Game: Gatorman also had a nice description in the chat yesterday, "Go over and we feed you to the crocs." (or something similar)  Here's my description..... "Go over in Card Game and we'll send a mob to your house, whack you, and feed you to the fishies."

Showcases:  Yikes on the lowballs.

Overall:  Not that bad of a show.

Clock Game-Congratulations, Cheryl!  Very great playing!

Let 'em Roll-I figured that Gold Bond would trip him up, I knew it was higher.  I guess he didn't need it, though; he won the car.  I'm surprised Bob let him keep the 1 car he rolled.

1/2 Off-Awesome win!!  I thought it would be in 5.

Pick a Number-Well, there goes a perfect show.  I would've guessed 8.

Card Game-This is just getting really ridiculous.  Why does the audience want to stop way too early??

Switch?-Cool, 2 trips!

Showcases-Major lowball on SC #1.

Clock: Welcome to the Club, Cheryl!!! That was unique playing and I'm happy for you. :-)

Roll: I would've took the money. But he went against my instincts and won.

1/2 Off: Impressive win.

Pick #: I would've chosen the 8, too.

Card: Stopped too soon.

Switch?: Nice win.

Showcases: A major Garf by the runner-up gave top winne a huge advantage.

I'll give this end of week show 3 stars.

Enjoy the big game tomorrow.

Cheryl did a good job playing Clock Game.

Suspensful end to Let 'em Roll. That last dice rolled over to the car for the win! Nice to see Donald win it after looking out to the audience most of the playing.

Brent was good. I picked box 5. And we have ourselves a perfect first half!

Poor Cheryl had two close calls on the wheel. Just too bad she didn't get much of a score out of it.

I thought Pick-a-Number was easy. I said $6897, and I was right.

Sharon stopped was too early in Card Game. She would have won if she picked the $5000 range card.

Yay! Switch for two trips, a nice treat. I would have switched as well.

Best Contestant- Donald

Showcase #1- $23,000
Difference- $4653

Showcase #2- $16,495
Difference- OVER

Clock Game: Those bid jumps for the clock just felt costly, even though Cheryl played the game well the whole time.

Let 'em Roll: At first, I said the Gold Bond would be lower than the Coricidin, but now at this moment, I now think it would be at least $6.99. I thought that would be tough when I saw it.

½ Off: I like 5. I picked (5). I lost with (5). I still like 5.

Pick-A-Number: I was a piano; so I thought big. It worked for me with that 8.

Card Game: 14800 is so low, I don't think it would work anytime in the near future.

Switch?: I thought Sedona would be more expensive, making me want to leave the prices alone. I guess the Southern hospitality is worth more.

I now feel cordial because Cheryl posted and became a member of this great site. [sniff, chuckle]

Good to have you aboard, Cheryl!  Decent job of playing Clock Game, too.

I wonder why, when Cheryl started counting down from $609, Bob waited until she'd gotten all the way to $601 before saying "higher."  Not that it ended up mattering...but still, that was odd.

Did anyone notice that Let 'em Roll has gone back to its regular labels?

Somebody in the sounds effects booth must have gotten a little happy during 1/2 Off...a second or two after the bells went off to indicate that Brent had won, the buzzer started sounding!

I'm sorry, but that was some horrible editing during the first Showcase Showdown.  Unless Bob really, really fouled things up, it would have looked much better if they'd just left his mistake in.

Card Game was just plain played badly.  There is no way it should have been lost like that.

I got a real kick out of the Madame Makeitup showcase.  Gotta admit, though...it woulda been slightly cooler if they'd decided to drag out the Fortune Teller Machine.

Yes I did notice that.  This show was taped well after the new labels were introduced.  Were the new "dom casualized" ones missing in storage or something?
