L$: If Joel had said 4 or lower on each of the last two digits, he would've won.

IitB: Bummer- I thought that Laura had it.

CoG: I would've lost thinking the game room was cheap.

SCSD #1: I know a dime beating a nickel in a S-O has happened at least twice before prior to today.

MYM: Another tough loss.

PaN: Watercrafts aren't THAT expensive, folks- that's two playings now recently where one thought a watercraft was just under 10 grand.

SB: Excellent playing by the other Laura...

Showcases: ...& she was about $1K away from being the 2nd DSW this week!

Definitely an interesting episode.

Once again you prove that you really don't know what you're talking about.  More often than not they're over $10,000.  ($10,384 or so)

This sure is a interesting set-up today.

THE BAD NEWS:

L7: Looking back, that may not been that mean of a setup, just unfortunate for Joel. At least he got some iPods.

IITB: Just bad luck for Laura A. Curse those pickles!

PaN: Surprised how cheap that Sea-Doo was...........Sometimes it'd be $10K+. Another case of bad luck for Billy.

MYM: I guess Jane was too excited to focus on the game with all that laughing.

THE GOOD NEWS:

CoG: Easy win by Lynn (That rhymed. )!

Spelling Bee: Great job from Laura S. and good SC bid!

THE BOTTOM LINE:

A pretty good 2/6-er, all-in-all.

CoG: Easy win by Lynn (That rhymed. )!

Better than that, her name rhymed. :-)

Not much to say about today's show except that L7's setup wasn't very nice, and I pretty much agreed with Lynn on the price of the game room. No way was that package going to be cheap.

Lucky 7: I knew 9 was the 2nd number in the price of the car because a similar Toyota Corolla was used in Stack the Deck pretty recently. Toady's contestant got off to a good start. Having 1 in tens column really set this up for a loss. Bummer of a way to start.

It's in the Bag: Ouch. Today's contestant played very well. Painful painful result. Also this game is NOT"won all the time." Drew should not make that comment when getting ready for It's in the Bag.

Coming or Going: Pretty easy setup. Pool tables aren't my thing but TVs are always great  prizes and that basketball game was pretty neat.

Make Your Move: This should have been won. The blender was easy and trip to Sweden hard but once the blender falls into place it's clear today's contestant underpriced the camera.

Pick a Number: I would have lost in the same way. Watercrafts tend to be expensive.

Spelling Bee: It's always exciting to see the car card picked. Kinda cool how today's contestant had both the car card and had the necessary cards to spell car as well. The Volkswagen Jetta win was a great way to end the show.

Showcases: Both showcases were good and they were similar so I was pretty indifferent to which 1 was won. Good bid by today's winning contestant to take the Panasonic TV and the Maldives trip.

Not a good show today but at least the Volkswagen Jetta win in Spelling Bee saved it from being a bad show.

Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.

Fantastic lineup today. Spelling Bee last was certainly a nice surprise! Also a nice win, too!

2/6, but I'm not complaining. Move was winnable and Bag had a pretty decent setup. I guess my only complaint would be about that nasty Lucky $even setup, but we've seen worse. In fact, worse seems to be pretty average nowadays.

No cars in the Showcases today, but there were some pretty awesome hammocks! :P
Pardon my language, but I do believe we all need to calm the f*** down.

Did anyone notice between the past two shows that a multi-prizer game hasn't been played
Yesterday ( Double Prices , Temptation , Hi-Lo , Balance Game , Rat Race , Squeeze Play )
Today ( Lucky Seven , It's In The Bag , Coming or Going , Make Your Move , Pick A Number , Spelling Bee)

If you define a multi prize game as a 4 prize game you're right . But if you include 3 prize games you're wrong since Make Your Move is a 3 prize game. I think of both 4 prize games and 3 prize games as MP games so I count Make Your Move.

I know this doesn't really answer the question, but I think I remember an instance in the last few years where both "CAR" cards were picked and one each of C, A, and R.
