Recap wording
« on: May 01, 2014, 10:21:28 AM »
I want to ask a specific question, when Adam says a contestant has been stuck in the row the entire time and he or she will be going home in the limo or the double wide, what does he mean by that?

I assume he means double wide trailer, or mobile home.

More to the point, I guess he means the contestant will either get out of CR and win some prizes, or stay there and leave without anything.

I honestly have no idea myself. I assume it's a reference from the BlogTV days of interactive 'Price' when those who didn't get up on stage were on the "short bus" but who knows.

Adam said that it was a replacement for the long-running "First Four Breakfast Club," a term given to people who failed to win their way up on stage for the whole show.

Joe had Breakfast Club
Kitch had the Mugshot
I wanted my own, so I chose a limo.

What made you choose the limo?

Steven, do not double-post like this.  You should usually be able to figure out what you need to say before you submit your post, and on the occasions when you later remember something you want to add, there's a 10-minute window during which you can edit a new post.

Ok, I was asking a specific question. Steve, there may be things you folks talk about i may not entirely understand.

I will keep that in mind when asking a particular question, or something specific that comes to mind.

My next one specifically for you is, how does the 10 minute window work? since i've been banned for a while, can we go back over that?

Basically for 10 minutes after a post the user who posted it will see a "modify" option on the right hand side of his/her post. If you click on that your original post will displayed in posting mode and you'll be able to add to or edit your post. But you must also complete your edit within the 10 minute window. If you're in edit mode and the 10 minute window passes while you're editing then when you hit save you'll get a "edit time has expired" message.

Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.
