My two cents (for now):

Push Over: Good win, though it was sort of tricky.
Safe Crackers: Another tricky playing, but tough break, nevertheless.
Hole in One: Never mind the camera shot (which affects nothing). Despite the setback in the grocery item part of the game, he nailed it on the first putt!
One Wrong Price (thank you, Se1200): I wish I knew whether or not Celeste won.
Freeze Frame: Didn't expect that hot tub to be so expensive. I was leaning toward $6K+. Nonetheless, tough break.
Spelling Bee: C-A-R and a CAR card! What a win! (she didn't even need the extra cards from the SP part of the game to win the car) And she even won her Showcase!

Showcases: The superior Showcase was the one that brought me over the moon: The Showcase with the sailboat and the trip to Walt Disney World! Great theme! The other Showcase was just gravy.

Now, if only I knew what Celeste was playing One Wrong Price for, and whether or not she won it.

What a bold lineup! Seeing Hole in One is always a treat, but seeing Spelling Bee fill the other "car game" slot was a welcome surprise.

Is that the first time the golf ball entered the hole for the sixth GP flag?
Torgo has left the building. John and I never really cared for the way he presented himself.

For those curious about OWP, it was played for a computer, a motorbike, & designer shoes. The shoes were priced at $1094, the computer at $2099 & the motorbike at (I believe) $2495. Celeste picked the shoes & lost. To win, she had to pick the bike, which (again, I believe) was actually $3199.

THE BAD NEWS:

Safe Crackers: I had a feeling that it was $670.........Tough break for James.

One Wrong Price:
According to the QWIZX.com recap site, One Wrong Price was lost.
I was meaning to mention that, but I was afraid I might spoil it to the rest of the East Coast and Gulf Coast, who hadn't seen it yet. Anyway, Celeste lost on it..........But what I don't understand why she didn't spin the wheel and have Drew do it. Is that the first time this happen? Well, in the show's history, anyway?

Freeze Frame: Should've known that was a Beachcomber. Too bad for Jeremy.

THE GOOD NEWS:

Pushover: A easy win for Kelli!

Hole In (Just) One: Those tomatoes are really pricey.........But at least Kenneth made a awesome shot on the first try!

Spelling Bee: Abby got all three letters and the word CAR for a auto-win........Really awesome! Looks like she's Car Winner/Boat Winner!  :P

THE BOTTOM LINE:

The lineup was good and the SCs weren't half bad, either.

This is the recap section...it is assumed that by clicking on the recap thread, there are going to be spoilers. It's a non-issue here.

If someone doesn't want to be spoiled, they just don't click on the recap thread. Simple as that. :)

Oh crap... the return of the IKEA kindling.

Drew's inspiration putt was both hilarious and amazing.  I don't think that Bob or any of Barker's Beauties (or any contestant for that matter) ever sank the ball into one of the flag holes.  I actually think that putt was more impressive than any other putt I've ever seen, simply because the flag hole is irregularly shaped and clearly smaller than the normal hole.

Woohoo!  Hard/soft Spelling Bee win!

My showcase bids:
WWP--$30,707
Kia--$25,707
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Always good to see a fellow cheesehead win!

Far from an amazing putt, but to see it bounce back in right after Drew's bounced into the slot for where the price holders for the grocery items go was odd/funny.

Bee -- Add me to the count who thought it looked sharp.

Bee + Hole in 1 = great show.
I'm TheBigAK...and I APPROVE this post.

So after today's episode, we have just 19 pricing games that were in the season 42 lineup that have not yet been played during season 43...

Bonus Game, Check Game, Danger Price, Hi Lo, Line 'Em Up, Magic #, Make Your Move, Now or Then, Pass the Buck, Rat Race, Shell Game, Stack the Deck, Step Up, Switcheroo, Take Two, Temptation, Ten Chances, Three Strikes, Triple Play

They recently upgraded Bonus Game w/the video monitors so I dare say it's safe to presume that it's not being retired.  Check Game likewise with the video monitors.  It concerns me slightly that Magic #, Shell Game, Take Two and Three Strikes haven't been played yet, although I realize they are semi-rare.

I know some of you wouldn't shed any tears if Triple Play were to be retired.  I count myself amongst those who wouldn't.  I don't hate the game, but it's not one that makes me drool either.  Pocket Change actually excites me more than T.P.

Pushover: Tossup between $8K+ & $9K+ for London; glad my guess ($8K+) turned out to be the right one.

Safe: They still have that $670 cookware after all those years.

HiOoT: Maybe Drew should start saying people win this game all the time here unlike in IItB (although it was won last week). I don't know what that hole next to the $500 flag was all about (which is where Drew's IP ultimately went in).

OWP: I knew it was the motorcycle because the posted price didn't end in -99.

Freeze: IMO, this was the toughest game of the day.

SB: Abby better thank her friend who suggested #24!

DOUBLE CAR WINNER SHOWCASE ROUND: Can you believe we've already had two of these this season & both in a four-show span?!?!? And Abby pulled a Laura (win SB two ways & then win her Showcase)!

Good show today on what has been an awfully good wk. so far!
