Switch: Nice win!
Lucky 7: Played the game LIKE A BOSS!
Shell Game: First loss I've seen in a while.
Bonkers: At the buzzer!  What a close call!
Pass The Buck: Another first loss I've seen in a while.
Double Cross: Too easy.

It's Dream Car Week once again heading into the holidays and midterms and what a nice start.  Thanks to the previews, we got a LOT more cars to (hopefully) give away, in which I do believe we have at least 2 games to give away 3 cars!  The budgets are going in overload mode.

How long has it been (before today) since 5-5-5-5 would have won on Lucky 7?

April Fools, 2014. Whenever they want it won they set it up around 5's.

“For the premiere of season 30, CBS wanted to do a special primetime show. However, they asked that we also add a gimmick or a twist to make it truly special. I came up with the suggestion of taking the show on the road for the first time in its history." - Roger Dobkowitz

Any idea where you'll be sending them next, once you've exhausted all your Indiana stops? :-P

Just will have to find out. ;)

So here's Day One of Dream Car Week:

THE BAD NEWS:

Shell Game: If it wasn't for the hand-held vacuum and/or the extractor, Otis would've had a chance of winning the Boston trip, bonus or not. This must be the first time that a hair remover, a SP, was sponsored.

Pass The Buck: A real shame on the first playing of this season. Really unfortunate for Katrina.

THE GOOD NEWS:

Switch?: A easy win for Angela! Plus, she got a G-bar on the wheel and won her SC!

Bonkers: That was less skill and more luck on Fredwayna's account.

Double Prices: Good job by Jana!

Lucky $even: You gotta hand it to Jacob..........He played that wonderfully! And for a $57K+ Porsche Cayenne!

THE BOTTOM LINE:

Off to a good start today...........And at least we have 3 models today. While it may not be in the way a lot of us wanted, considering that Hunter is back and another obscure male from Y&R that I don't know much about, it's still 3 people modeling. Let's see how the rest of the week plays out.

Buried in the ending credits... "A discrepancy was found in the price of a prize and was rectified post taping. This did not affect the outcome of any game."

Possibly the Shell Game prize price was originally misstated (before redubbing)? The other prizes seem to affect gameplay to me.

Whenever they want it won they set it up around 5's.

I may be wrong, but IIRC, that setup used to be so common as to be a LFaT rule, almost as reliable as the Zero in Ten Chances.

I always assume that means a trip price changed.

I swear I've seen one before ages ago. That's what Nair is, after all.
Torgo has left the building. John and I never really cared for the way he presented himself.

Drew was markedly off his game during this show...until the beginning of Pass the Buck, from which point on he was completely normal.  It wasn't fun to watch, but as long as it stays the exception instead of the rule, I'll live.

Lucky $even was nothing short of incredible.  It's pretty obvious they wanted it won, anyway -- guessing all 5s would have produced a win -- but I doubt anyone expected it to be won quite that way.

Considering they basically offered a Golden Road car in Lucky $even, I was impressed that they didn't exactly skimp on Pass the Buck, either -- that Mini Cooper was damn near expensive enough for 3 Strikes.

Fredwayna was the worst Bonkers player I've seen in quite a long time.  It's an absolute miracle that she won.

Not only did Jacob win L7 today for the Porsche Cayenne, he tied the game's all-time record for most money left at the end!

I seriously doubt that you know that.

What is the record in L7? Has anyone ever played it perfectly?

Maybe they decided to do that (two higher priced but not super high priced cars), rather than last year's one really high priced (like $100,000 +) car?
