Credit Card:  I thought he was done for when he chose the snowblower.  Boy was I wrong.

Pocket Change:  5 on the 4th digit?  WHAT?!?!?

Stack The Deck:  1st digit free?!?!?!?  [insert head banging on desk picture]  I thought she made a bad move for the last digit.....I guess not, seeing it was a niner.

Range Game:  BAM!  Perfect show baby! :-D

Showcases:  Wowzers.....a good ol' Corvette in the showcase!  I still couldn't believe it was $71K, even with the African photo safari.

Overall:  It had it's good and bad moments, but it was a good show today overall.

Bidding Round #3- #165, Amanda! :-D

Bidding Round #5- #166, Allison! :-D

Stack the Deck- She makes the stupid decision of picking the first number, but still saves our perfecto hopes! Wow.

Range Game- I was a bit worried when this game showed up, but thank goodness Amanda got it done! PERFECTO!!!

Showcase Showdown #2- An overtime loss for Amanda... even more painful.

Showcases- After seeing a Corvette, I think it's safe to say that today's show really killed the budget.

BEST CONTESTANT OF THE DAY- Eugene.

SHOW SUMMARY AND GRADE- Nice way to start the week... Grade: 3

^I think we have to invent a new category of "stupid bid" for a horror like Eric's $75 bid...

Credit Card: When I saw that snow blower I said "no." Shows how much I know. Good win for Eugene to start things off.

Pocket Change: Talk about winning the car the hard way. Good job Robyn.

Cliff Hangers: I guessed $22 on the lamp and be off by $11. :-? But luckily I got the game exactly right and be off by $1 on the coffee maker. Benjamin was not as good as me however we would both end up winning regardless of the difference of our final steps. 12 for me. 19 for Benjamin.

SS #1: I wanted Benjamin to win here.

Switch: Thank god Luann changed her mind to keep this winning streak going.

Stack The Deck: I do admit it wasn't a very choice for Trudy to pick the first number. It mattered on pure luck and definitely luck was on Trudy's side for her to get that car. 5 down 1 to go.

Range Game: I got a bit worried when Amanda stopped that range finder. But when that price showed up it turn out she stopped just in time. 6 for 6. A perfect show!

SS #2: I wanted Trudy win however it was not a surprise that  a $1,000 was won after what the day has been like today.

Showcases: I knew that Corvette was around the $50,000+ range. It was probably the African Safari trip that made this showcase much more expensive.

On a side note how I wish Amanda would have been called down earlier say 5th contestant. And that Allison would be number 6. Okay I do admit that they're both quite hot.

Aw, of all the weeks to be out of town I had to pick a week which starts off with a perfect show. Oh well, hopefully they'll show this one in reruns.

Another awesome show today! Seems like this show just keeps getting better!

Credit Card: Very well played!

Pocket Change: Started out great. Then that 4th number??? Still she just made two mistakes. I was really worried she might lose the way those small amounts kept coming up.

Cliff Hangers: Glad to see this today. Played this very well also.

3 games won thus far. Could we see another perfect show???

Switch? Got worried here when she didn't switch at first, but the perfect run continues.

Stack the Deck: Thought we'd lost our perfect show when she asked for the first number, but what an amazing win! (I honestly thought she had said "third" for the last choice and Bob had heard wrong. Had to back up the tape to make sure.)

Range Game: Played great!

SCSD #2: How many more winners to spin the big wheel, Bob? ;-)

Couldn't believe that 2nd showcase was so expensive, but then that safari was for 13 days.

Excellent way to start the week! Here's to 5 days of Price with no pre-emptions! :-)

Credit Card: The guitars were the only remaning item less than $901.

Pocket Cganhe: Great playing, save for saying 5 on the 4th number.  I thought Robyn would lose with puny change.

Cliffhangers: How could the disco ball lamp be only $11?  Nice playing by Benjamian.

Switch: Switching was the only thing you can do.  Good thing Louanne decided to switch at the last second.

Stack the Deck: Going for the 1st number?  C'mon!  At least Turdy still kept our perfecto hopes alive.  1 more to go:

Range Game: I thought Amanda cost us a Prefect show there by stopping too late.  Great win by Amanda.

SCSD: YES!  $1000 winner during a spinoff.

SC: Always nice to see a Corvette.  Not nice to see Eugene bid on $60K.  I said $70K.

Credit Card: Followed the bottom row rule.

Pocket Change: Good win! She played this very well, and it came down to the last envelope!

Cliff Hangers: Not the best of playings, but it was won!

Switch?: I got worried about that switch, but we have another win!

Stack The Deck: Well, it's a good thing Trudy picked the last digit amongst her freebies, because if she hadn't, she likely would have put the 0 as the last digit. Nice job!

Range Game: Second perfect show of the season!!!

Showcases: Benjamin couldn't make it a totally perfect show on his attempt to win the Corvette showcase. He gave it a great try, but that was near impossible to win today, because of that safari. If the trip had been to Mexico instead, he would have won. Oh well.

Overall: Great show today!

Wow.  What a fantastic episode.  Excited contestants...Bob at his best...lots of wins...one of the most expensive showcases in history...this just had everything going for it!

Robyn played Pocket ¢hange very well except for her guesses on the fourth number.  I'm really not sure how she got so far off track with that...it's just a good thing she had a quarter in that one envelope!

Yay!  Cliff Hangers!  So, so good to see this again...it's been getting massively underplayed lately.

I don't really get how Louann almost managed to lose Switch?.  That seemed to me like one of the day's easier decisions.

On the other hand, I have no idea how Trudy managed to win Stack the Deck.  Roger totally had that set up to be lost, and she really didn't play it very well, either, what with asking for the first digit free...and yet somehow, she still managed to get everything right.  Absolutely unbelievable.

I gotta tell ya, I was scared to death when I saw Range Game sixth.  The last time it came up in this situation, it cost us the perfect show...but not today!

I couldn't help laughing at the bids on the fifth IUFB.  We know better, of course, but to a normal viewer, those clocks really don't look very expensive.

Eugene may not have won the Showcase, but you have to give him credit for making such a reasonable-yet-gutsy bid.  And his reaction after the price reveal was wonderful to see...disappointed about losing the Corvette, but clearly very happy for Louann.

PG #1:  Easy.

PG #2:  I'm slightly disappointed that the numbered balls didn't flash after the win as they normally do.  Again, that's just a slight beef.

PG #4:  Nice Dobstopper.  Neither one of those looked $2,397 to me.  I actually would've left those prices alone.

One-Bid #5:  Fireball Hottie #26--Allison!  :-P

PG #5:  The second set of products was hard.  The car price was hard (unless you had the last three numbers in place).  There was really no excuse for Trudy to take the first number for free... but she got really lucky with that third digit.  Bob was right on target--that was a tough win.

PG #6:  Ha ha ha!  "We won't start it again!"  Nice change of rule there after the Freeze Frame debacle last week.  And hallelujah--we have another S35 perfecto!

Showcase #1:  "STAGE GARF!"

Showcase #2:  Yay!  Showcase '83 cue!  :-P  "STAGE GARF #2!"  Well, today, it's a matter of who garfed the least.

My showcase bids:
Random room/watercrafts--$25,776
Corvette--$65,065
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".
