I stand corrected. I should have said just the Ducks in that position, my bad.
2nd place, 2011 CSS playoffs.     QSW, 3/27/17, 1/15/18. Exacta, 5/14/21.

Game three tonight!  I'm excited for it and I think it'll be a great game.  A win by Edmonton will get them back in the series.  If Carolina wins, they have it almost wrapped up.  Only one time in Stanley Cup finals history (twice in the whole NHL playoffs) has a team down 3-0 came back to win.

I'm not going to get to go to the RBC Center for the viewing party tonight, but I'm not too sad, because I've got my RBC Center goal horn sound ready to blast whenever we score a goal. Plus, I might be able to go Monday night, which is better, since we could possibly win the Stanley Cup on that night. That'd be pretty awesome.

I'll be cheering long and hard to make sure that doesn't come true.  Amazing things can happen, when you believe...

... And it does happen!  THE OILERS ARE BACK IN THE GAME!!!  What a way to kick things off with an oil-tastic explosive bang!  The third period got so intense but Smyth does it again!  Captain Canada, we salute you.  And don't forget about Markkanen, the first star of the game!  Absolutely amazing, and fending off all those naysayers who think we can't do it without Roloson. What an adrenaline rush and high I've got going on right now!

It's about time the Oilers stole the thunder from the storm!

You tell 'em! YES!!! We're gonna make a comeback! Category 5 (first two games *shutters*) to now downgraded to a tropical storm, at best. Every hurricane has to die at some point! ;)

Such respectful people those Canadians are. Continuing to make noise and doing a "Let's Go Oilers" chant during the U.S. national anthem. So much for being friends, I guess.

And Cash24, congratulations on making totally stupid comments. You're acting like just because you won this game, we're totally awful now, and you guys are the team to beat. I don't think so. Maybe I'm a bit disappointed by that loss, but still, those were some pretty uneducated comments.

I've never been much of a hockey fan, but I watched the game tonight, and it was exciting.  That was an incredible amount of energy the fans displayed, and both teams had just as much energy.  It was a fluke goal that won the game, but then again, what could have been a legit goal for the Oilers was waved off earlier by the refs when they lost the puck in between the goalie's legs, so it all worked out.

And heels...I think it's a bit too far to say that Canadians aren't our friends just because some sports fans made noise during our national anthem.  They weren't exactly quiet during Oh Canada, either.

That's because they were all singing it.

:-x   :-x   It's too bad that hockey fans in Seattle is getting the royal screw job for the Staney Cup.  The NBC affiliate (KING) will not show any of the remaining games AT ALL!!!  Instead, they'll show some stupid specials on women's health or some other boring program.

So I will have to rely on CBC to get my Stanley Cup fix.

My comments were dumb, at most. I was silly, I'll easily admit. My apologies.

Why? That makes no sense. Did they even give an explanation?

1. Why isn't NBC showing the games?

2. CBC is better anyway. At least you get that in Seattle.

3. Go Oilers.

4. Seeing 16,000 people sing "Oh Canada" is one of the coolest things about hockey in Canada.

It looks like the Stanley Cup Finals in Seattle are being shown on KONG, an independent station owned by the same company that owns KING.
