I'll admit, when I saw the first Showcase reveal was an Over, I was fully expecting a DOB. So to end up with a DSW (and with a single-digit difference one at that!) stunned me. Question, have there been any other single-digit DSW's between Terry Kniess and today?

Stack The Deck: Bad enough Jada was playing that game, but for a Journey? Talk about a double whammy. Jada should just return the car stereo stuff and keep the $1000 she got on the wheel.

Flip Flop: $8612 for a trip to Toronto?!! That ain't right.

THE NOT-SO-BAD NEWS:

Gas Money: That was a decent setup, but I guess James isn't too fond of Kias. Well, he did bailed out on $5K.

THE GOOD NEWS:

Shell Game: Vicky came so close to getting the bonus, but winning a year's worth of handbags and $3000 was a good prize.

ME: Too damn easy, but good job by Jennifer.

Bargain Game: A great job Hilda picking the computer...And she won her SC by a $8 difference!! A incredible bid!!!

THE BOTTOM LINE:

A good show today, especially with Hilda's SC bid...One of the closest bids of this show's history during the Carey Era.

I thought the contestant's choice of the second digit in Stack was a good one. Unfortunately, that was her only earned digit.

Rewatching the DSW on YouTube, I noticed something interesting in the comments: the "Double Showcase Winner" graphic came in synchronized with the "whoop whoop whoop" sound effect. If it was designed to do that, I suddenly hate it a lot less.
