favorite showcase podiums

What is your favorite showcase bidding podium design so far on TPIR?  I liked these showcase podiums in the picture the best (courtesy of Tony Harrison's website).  They are very bright and stand out really well.

I don't particulary care for the newer coloring scheme they now use on those podiums, they're too glittery for lack of a better way to describe it.

My favorite ones are the current ones. For some weird reason I find it cool that the read out for the bids is now on top.

I like the ones in the picture above. That with the green carpet and padded purple/red/orange walls.

The 1975-83 podiums were my favorite because I remember them so clearly when I was little.

My favorite ones are the orange and purple ones in the picture above.  I grew up seeing those.

I like the original 1972 ones. The idea of the podium revealing the price was so cool!

I like the purple and orange showcase podiums the best since they have the best look and color scheme.  The MDS podiums would be my second favorite.

Dude, I hate to burst your bubble, but that was only done on the first episode.

Although I liked the Showcase podiums from the '80s, my personal favorite would have to be the six-digit Showcase podiums from the MDS specials.  Who knows, they might use six-digit podiums for season premieres or something like that.  The current podiums can't go beyond $99,999; yet Vickyann's total from the Season 35 premiere was $147,517.  The six-digit podiums should be saved for those "milestone" shows.

Here's what I'm talkin' about:

I support The Price is Right...even if nobody I know likes Drew Carey.

Interestingly enough Frank, those podiums are among the shortest-lived. They debuted midway through season 11, and were gone by the end of season 12.
