(Walking 2007)

(cheers and applause)

Welcome, SuperSweeper! In a moment, I have a surprise for you, but first, let's hear about a prize that's being played for. George, what is it?

GEORGE: It's a fun new sailboat! (Rachel models it) (Amen, Brother Herbert) (applause) From the Chesapeake Boat Company, this sailboat is lightweight and is built with a sturdy frame to withstand damage from hurricanes. It's a prize worth $10,475!

And the game you're about to play, SuperSweeper, is called Hurdles! It just so happens that it's the final pricing game that has yet to be played in my series. And today, after 22 shows and seven years, I've pulled it off! (cheers) Now SuperSweeper, the idea of the game is to get the runner to the finish line. And how do you get him there? Well, I'll tell you how: That runner has a price attached, and today, it is $4.69. There are three pairs of grocery products, and from each pair, you must pick the lower-priced product. Do it successfully, he'll make it to the finish line, and then you win the sailboat! (cheers and applause) But before you get started, let's have George tell you what they are.

(Cue 86)

GEORGE: First, for the runner, we have a medium bottle of Garnier Fructis shampoo. Then for the first hurdle, we have a medium bottle of Johnson's baby lotion and a medium bottle of V8 Splash fruit juice. Next, for the second hurdle, we have a large DiGiorno pizza and a medium box of Ritz crackers. And finally, for the last hurdle, we have a small box of Advil and a medium tub of Breyers ice cream.

To speed up the game, pick the less expensive product from each hurdle. Remember this order when doing so:

HURDLE 1: Lotion or V8
HURDLE 2: Pizza or crackers
HURDLE 3: Advil or ice cream

I'd go with the V8, the crackers and the Advil.

The first two I buy quite often and they are nowhere near $4.69. I also buy Breyer's but only when it's on sale for Buy 1 Get 1 Free as it's normally $5.79 where I shop.

All righty, your choices have been made. Now, it's time to start the race. When I fire this pistol, the runner will start moving, and hopefully, he'll cross the finish line. Ready, on your mark, get set, GO! (fires pistol, and screams can be heard from audience)

(William Tell Overture)

He's approaching the first hurdle, will he make it over? I think he will...

DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING!

(applause)

...because the V8 is only $3.15. Now on to the second hurdle, and here it comes, how about a price? The crackers are...

DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING!

...$4.19. And on we go to the final hurdle...but this looks like trouble. It doesn't look too good for you...

CRASH!

(audience groans)

...and it wasn't, because the Advil was $5.39. I hope you had fun playing anyway, and we'll see you at the Wheel.

(applause)

(TPIR Theme 2007)

I wish it would've ended better, but oh well. That's all the games I've played in my series, and we'll have the Showcase Showdown after these messages.
