Squeeze play- When Rebecca took out the one I thought she had won that tip so much for what know.

Punchboard- ugh! 50 dollars. Well, its better to win 50 dollars than to win nothing.

Hole in one or two- Tough set up for the grocery  part.

Freeze Frame- When Kimberly guess $2995 dollars I thought she had loss.

Most expensive- that was also a tough set up I thought when bonnie guess the scuba gear I thought for sure she had loss. I didn’t think the scuba gear was that expensive.

One away—Well, Annie had the six correct too bad it wasn’t the right six.

Wow.  I think despite the fact that about half of the games were ultimately TOUGH today, the contestants were definitely the highlight.

Squeeze Play---Interesting story: Rebecca's boyfriend Karl was a huge fan of TPIR and Rebecca ends up going up there instead of Karl.  But the prize suited for both of them definitely fit: Ireland trip!
However, in regards to the numbers, the consensus of the Peanut Gallery, as well as Karl, and me: we all wanted the "1" gone.  Rebecca's hunch was the same thing too.  But it was $7,189.  Tough break.  Roger did NOT want this won today.

Punchboard---The first 3 SPs were easy, the last one was HARD!  In regards to the punches, Daniel punches 1,2, and 3 in a row--HISTORIC MOMENT ALERT!!  Unfortunately, that only landed him with a paltry $50.  Yet another TOUGH BREAK.

Hole in One---Greta was pretty!!  Too bad she got stuck with a very TOUGH Grocery product game---my order was cat food, V8, shampoo, Oasis, Clorox, and Gold Bond.
With the putts, heels is most likely going to be pissed at me for this, but I think Greta needs some golf practice.

SCSD 1: Tough break for both Rebecca and Greta.  Daniel gets $1,000 on the wheel to make up for the loss in Punch A Bunch.

Freeze Frame---Another toughie.  I had it down to $2950, $3995, and $4539.
My hunch was Kim's hunch ($2950).  Shows how much we BOTH know about TV prices.

Most Expensive---Uh oh the dreaded scuba gear is back.  Bonnie saves the show from a skunk by picking 3 and she wins all 3 prizes.  My hunch was 2--I would have lost.  NOT an easy setup today, but Bonnie was the only one who stopped Roger in his tracks.

One Away---Annie gets 4 numbers right which usually means---you guys know what I mean.  But she changed the WRONG 6.  When Annie did NOT change the second 6, that meant CATASTROPHE.

SCSD 2: Annie, I would have stayed at 65.

Showcases: Thank goodness the audience talked Daniel to change his bid.  Tough break for Bonnie--she went over by a little bit over $1,500.  Daniel wins over $23,000 in cash and prizes today---great comeback!

Just dropping by again...

Squeezy: There was something about that 1...
Punchboard: bad luck
Hole in One: see Punchboard
Freeze Frame: should not have been lost.
Most Expensive: Shouuld not have been won.
One Away: see Freezy.
SC's: Ouch!  That second showcase was more expensive than usual, and that may have saved Daniel...

Happy Weekend all!

I think I'm going to be sick.

There is a list of things I badly want to see in person or do on The Price Is Right - especially before June. And near the top of that list is either see Hole In One, or by some miracle play it...

I thought for a brief moment on 1/30, when I saw all that red under the giant price tag, I'd get my chance. No such luck... It was just Let 'Em Roll.

So imagine how I felt today when I sat there watching, saw Rich describe a car, then saw Bob.... holding a golf ball!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe this. I missed seeing my favorite pricing game in person by one day. ONE DAY! ONE BLOODY DAY!

Twenty four hours later, and I would've finally done it...

I feel like I've been kicked in the head.

Needless to say, I was way too disgusted after that to even pay much attention to the rest of the show. :-?

Was nice to see Punchboard again, though. I was getting worried that this game had disappeared forever.
In loving and eternal memory of a truly beautiful goddess.

One other bright spot in this show...Annie's sad reaction was captured in a still shot and aired just before going to commercial after her loss. Looks like Roger kept his promise!

Squeeze Play: Man I really wanted both Rebecca and Karl to win trip. I was even with Karl in taking out the 1. Gee, that was evil.

Punchboard: Quite neat that Daniel punched the first 3 holes. I wish I could say the same for his outcome. A misly $50.

Hole In One (or Two): Greta did had a touch time guessing those products. The same result goes for her putting as well.

SS #1: I wanted Rebecca to win in terms of redemption.

Freeze Frame: When she freezed at $2950 I knew it was bound for a loss.

Most Expensive: I would pick #1 as the most expensive. I thought Bonnie would lose when she picked #3 the scuba gear. Boy was I wrong and she's right. Good job Bonnie on stopping the DOB.

One Away: I was with Annie to pick the first 6 changed. However, my gut was right when it turned to be $16,00+

SS #2: I wanted Kimberly or Annie to win.

Showcases: Nice move by Daniel to change his bid. Had he stick with I believe $21,500 he would have gone over. In fact he and Bonnie would have a double overbid had he stuck with that. Thank you peanut gallery.

Bidding Round #1- #180, Greta! :-D

Squeeze Play- Wow, Bob was really going to switch them. Got to wonder how she got picked instead of her boyfriend.

Most Expensive- That was probably the most exciting Most Expensive win we've ever seen.

Bidding Round #6- #181, Jaime! :-D

Showcases- Whoa... Port 'o Price on steroids!

BEST CONTESTANT OF THE DAY- Annie.

SHOW SUMMARY AND GRADE- Nice show to end the week... Grade: 3

If only our Price problems were as simple as that. Most of us (including me) are hoping we can just get out there. :-(

Squeeze Play: I had a feeling the 5 had to go.

Punch-a-Bunch: The player punched out the first three holes on the board! I agree with Bob that it's a first in this game. Too bad luck wasn't with him.

Hole in One: The products were HARD. I never thought the cat food was THAT cheap. I don't think it would have mattered, though, because Greta's putting was terrible.

Freeze Frame: Easy.

Most Expensive: HARD. I never would have guessed the scuba gear would have been the most expensive. I would have chosen the gas pump.

One Away: So close to an EXACTA! If Annie hadn't garfed on the third digit on the first try, she would have had it! Darn.

Showcases: OUCH. I thought for sure Bonnie had won. At least the man changed his mind on the second showcase thanks to the audience; otherwise, another Double Overbid would have ocurred.

Overall: Like most shows this week, this was an average one. Thus, I think this was not the best of weeks for the show, because no one won at least $35,000 in stuff. On my Game Show Kingdom blog, I call that a WIPEOUT. Too bad.

Despite losses a fairly good show today. I was really hoping for IITB, but getting to see Holey instead was a fair trade.

Squeeze: My new strategy worked today. My first instinct was to pull the 1. So I thought it would be the 5 instead and sure enough it was.

Punchy: I'd be curious to know what was in hole #4 on the board; you just know that would have been his final punch had he gotten that last SP right.

Holey: Tough product set-up but I knew she'd lost on that shampoo.

FF: Again??? I had that one right with 3995.

Most Exp. I remember from sometime before that scuba gear being over $4K. Still that dinette set was more exp. than I thought.

One Away: My wife said she should make it an 8. These trucks used to trick me, seeming more exp. than they are. I said change the middle to a 4. Awesome to see the freeze frame shot of Annie before the break!

Glad Daniel backed-off on his showcase bid.

Have a great weekend everyone!

PG #2:  Yay!  Punchy!  :-P  That is probably an historic right.  I don't recall ever seeing anybody punch a set of holes that were all contiguous.

PG #3:  Evil setup.  The bleach, mouthwash, and shampoo could've been anything.

SCSD #1:  Nice recovery after that miserable $50 in Punchy.

PG #4:  $2,950 would've been my second choice after $3,995.

PG #5:  GRECO DAMMIT!  :-D  And all hail Bonnie, too!

PG #6:  WHOO!  The freeze-frame contestant shots are back!  :-D

My showcase bids:
Car--$30,629
FRPOPS--$15,135
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Yay, a car game sixth!  And One Away, too!  Nice and comfy:  aside from Lucky $even, which we shouldn't expect sixth anytime ever, One Away's the one that feels most at home sixth.

Yay, the contestant stills before commercial breaks have returned, just like someone said a few days ago!  Wonder how long they'll last.

How the heck did Bonnie win Most Expensive?!  Seriously, that was incredible!

This is the second show in a row where a contestant was escorted to contestants' row by audience members.  Yesterday's oddity was having a stranger escort the contestant.  Today's oddity was having two people escort her... we can't just have plain ol' contestant escorts anymore, can we
Greta was quite pretty

Call me a big crybaby, but after all those losses, I wanted to see MOST EXPENSIVE lost, so I can hear the "MRRRRRP" (bass buzzer) followed by losing horns. Too many "BUZZZZ" (tenor buzzer) today. Advice to powers that be when new host takes over, more "MRRRRRP", less "BUZZZZ". My apologies for being a stick in the mud.

I agree with you there. And speaking of MRRRP, that should be more appropriate for the missed putts in Hole In One. The BZZZZ for missed putts just doesn't sound right, IMO.
