My God was Amanda annoying today.

I disagree. I thought Clock Game was incredibly entertaining to watch, and I'm happy they didn't edit that bit to shreds. A genuine interaction between Drew and the contestant made for engaging television, and while she seemed overwhelmed at first, it made it that much more gratifying to watch her win - handily, at that - after building up the suspense. Segment of the day.

I was surprised that Amanda did well despite how nervous she seemed. I thought she would have flunked Clock Game and/or taken too long. Nice to see a luxury car in the showcase too.

I was pleased that they left in the conversation between Amanda and Drew, despite the relatively long lineup and the bonus spin. There's far too little host-contestant interaction shown these days, and to see her play Clock Game very well made her a great contestant all around.

It was great to see that the choices for the second digit in Pathfinder were something other than x/x+1/x+2/x+3. Too bad it didn't help Christina, but it does considerably ease the difficulty of an already hard game by design.

Finally, a showcase ending between -000 and -250! If only the contestant would have bid the season number in thousands of dollars...

THE BAD NEWS:

TTM: That Civic got pimped out. Tough break for Eric.

Pathfinder: I forgot that Mirages were at the same price range as a Spark. Anyway Christina won $11K on the wheel so I guess she shouldn't be too worried about losing on that game. Kinda sucks she came close in winning that Benz.

FF: Easy setup but bad loss.

THE GOOD NEWS:

Clock Game: Boy, oh boy...Now I know why TTM was 1st. They deliberately let that interaction between Drew and Amanda to play all the way through with no editing whatsoever. Despite her jitters and all, she didn't do bad on the game. And she did a FRBS, as well.

ME: Easy win by Darryl!

C-O: I was scared that the cat food would do Michelle in...But she played that well. Good job!

THE BOTTOM LINE:

No car wins, but a good 3/6-er.
