ARP: $1035. Winner: Patricia

Patricia will play Card Game for a gold Mazda GLC hatchback (modeled by Holly), with 1.5 liter engine, air conditioning, AM/FM stereo-radio and automatic transmission.

She draws the $500 card from the special deck, so must come within $500 of the actual retail price of the car without going over. She is also given a starting bid of $2000.

First card drawn: Jack of spades. Bid is now $3000.
Second card drawn: Queen of diamonds. Bid is now $4000.
Third card drawn: Jack of hearts. Bid is now $5000.
Fourth card drawn: Ace of clubs. Patricia makes it $1500, for a total bid of $6500.

Patricia decides not to draw further. To win, the car must be at least $6500 but not more than $7000.

The ARP is: $7206, for a difference of $706, and Patricia does not win.

September goes on to punch out the following holes as they appear on the board: 4th hole of 4th row, 7th hole of second row, top right corner, and 2nd hole of 4th row.

Bob reaches into the first hole and comes out with $100. September gives it back.

Bob reaches into the second hole and comes out with $500. September decides to keep it.

After establishing that September has won $500, Bob reaches into the third hole and discovers, unfortunately, that it contains $1000. The last hole contains $100.

With some reluctance, Laura will play Ten Chances for a McCormick-Schilling spice rack and a Pearl grandfather clock (both modeled by Dian), and finally a tan Pontiac 2000 station wagon (modeled by Janice), featuring 64.4 cubic feet of cargo space, along with standard features and California emission. During the course of the game, she will cause Bob to become very exasperated.

Chance 1: Writes $50 (correct)

Numbers given for grandfather clock: 5,0,8,2

Chance 2: Writes $825 (wrong)

Chance 5: Writes $890, at the same time asking if she can use other numbers. After Bob exasperatingly explains that she cannot, she crosses it out and writes $850, and is at last correct.

Laura wins all of the prizes, and before the commercial break, Bob insists that she thank her pesty cousin for dragging her to the show.

Carol must purchase one product and decide how many of it is needed to total $5-6.

Carol takes 7 of the pie filling. Each is $1.34, totaling $9.38 for 7 of them. Carol does not hit the Bullseye or receive a target marker, but will be given another attempt with a different product.

Carol goes for 17 rolls of Certs. They're 30 cents each, totaling $5.10 for 17 of them. This is within winning range, and she is a winner.

Showcase Showdown #2

Linda will spin first, Carol second and Laura third.

Linda spins 85 cents and stands on it.

Carol spins 85 cents and opts for a spin-off with Linda.

Laura spins 80 cents. Spins again and gets 65 cents for a total of $1.45 and is out.

Linda and Carol will now have a spin-off.

Linda spins 75 cents.

Carol spins 95 cents.

Carol is the winner.

Carol is the top winner in the showcases, and September is the runner up.

The first showcase is an ordinary, non-themed showcase that features a rattan living room set by Clayton Marcus with Galaxy carpeting (modeled by Holly), along with a Hoover Concept 2 vacuum cleaner (modeled by Janice), and an 18-foot Kit Road Ranger travel trailer (modeled by Dian).

Carol chooses to pass. September bids $9300

The second showcase features prizes revealed as Janice and Dian prepare Holly to go whale-watching. Prizes include a set of Bushnell binoculars (for getting good close-up views of the whales), an underwater camera, and a Rally 150 ski boat.

I remember September (no rhyme intended) saying she was born in October! And the clanging bell and whoops continued into the credits.
