Matt Hasslebeck is 4-0 as he manages to give the Colts the 25-12 victory against Tampa Bay.

Carolina stands alone as the only undefeated team! Pats choke a 14 point lead and lose tonight against the Brock Osweiler Broncos. I guaranteed if Peyton started, the Pats would have been 11-0.

That's not something I'd expect from the Patriots. When was the last time they coughed up a lead that huge?

If my memory is correct, the infamous 4th and 2 game back in 2009 which ironically kept the Colts perfect.

I'm sure there's no one out there who'd think the Panthers would be the last remaining undefeated team at this point in the season. Despite their shocking loss (much to the glee of their haters), the Patriots are still the favorites to win the Super Bowl for the second year in a row.

More fallout from the Patriots' loss: WR Chris Harper was cut from the team. He muffed a Britton Colquitt punt that was recovered by the Broncos' Shaquil Barrett which led to the Broncos' game-winning touchdown.

I guess one NFC team wants to fight for a Wild Card after all...

The Bears are moving in the right direction, but their hole might be just a touch too deep, thanks to their 2-5 conference record.

Yep.  Minnesota goes to 8-3 and reclaims the top of the NFC North standings.  At this point, the Vikings could choke the rest of the way and still conceivably get a Wild Card with an 8-8 record.  Nobody else in the NFC seems to be trying to get into that position.

In Minnesota loses out and goes 8-8, I don't see them finishing ahead of Chicago.  The Bears would be 6-6 with a win over the Vikes, and if they can win that game in Minnesota, I don't see them losing more than one of their remaining games (SF, WAS, TB, DET).

Which all in all means this season will be at least a minimal success for we in Philly regardless of what our final record is, knowing that we probably broke Dallas for good this year when we knocked him out back in Week 2, which for we can be as good as winning it all.

And Philly fans wonder why nobody likes them.  Breaking someone's bones isn't exactly something that should be cheered in polite society.

Brought up by Mel Kiper today: We are 150 days away from the NFL Draft. As it stands now, the Tennessee Titans would hold the first overall pick.

Actually it cut the Patriots lead to 21-14 and shifted momentum to the Broncos.

Correct. My source was in error.

It was a year ago today when Carolina lost their last regular season game.

You see it a lot in college play but the Ravens win on a kick block return for a touchdown thanks to former Giants player Will Hill.

Josh McCown is toast for the rest of the season for Cleveland, having fractured his clavicle last night. Could Johnny Manziel's demotion be rescinded?

Cleveland is just going to end up with either Jared Goff or Connor Cook anyway, so it's all good, Browns fans.

The end of the Packers/Lions game is a microcosm of the Detroit Lions as a franchise; snake bitten and not that good.
