Well guys and gals. This is it. This recap today is my very last as a recapper. It has been no question, a wonderful ride being in the line of excellent recappers such as Joe Capitano, Kitch, Vadernader, etc. This job is yes, a tough one, but you know, you learn a lot of how The Price is Right works. This has been fun, because Golden-Road.net is an international treasure for an international game show. Thousands of people read this site for their fix on The Price is Right, and it's been fun to be the catalyst to watch the game show I grew up loving since age 4 (I'm now 24) and as much as I hate to leave this job behind, the idea of having a job, a girlfriend and a life has overtaken the ability for me to watch Price everyday. I don't know who will replace me, that has yet to be figured out, but I only wish them the best.

As I mentioned, I am not going away. I still read Golden-Road.net multiple times during the day (even at work) because I want to see what is going on. I will be able to hang around in our chat some days and I will be announcing stuff soon on the Host Your Own board. Thanks for everything guys, it's been an absolute pleasure. (No matter how much I put you through.)

Enjoy Season 44,

Roadgeek Adam.

Thanks for all your hard work on the recap Adam. :-)

This was a rather lackluster show, unfortunately. At least some free goodies were given out.
2nd place, 2011 CSS playoffs.     QSW, 3/27/17, 1/15/18. Exacta, 5/14/21.

Wasn't surprising that the only game that was won was Mathy, concerning today's special. The setups weren't that terrible, but definitely not difficult.* And Jonathan bidding $499 on a Santa Barbara trip? SMH

THE BOTTOM LINE:

Pretty lackluster way to finally end Season 43. On well...On to Season 44! And thank you for everything you've done on the recaps, Adam.

*I somehow knew that the crayons alone weren't worth over $6 on TiM.

Le sigh... That sure was a sad way to end the season on a whimper.  What a bummer (at least the show wasn't skunked, but oh well).  I'm ready for season 44!

Double Prices was easy, I really don't know why she chose to go with the higher price.
I'm surprised Jonathan even made it on stage too, with all of those suicide bids. (besides that $499 bid, how do you bid $325 after someone else bid $450?)

Thank you for all of your recapping, Adam. I can't wait to see what Season 44 brings us!
I hadn't really thought about this before, but the reality of death means that every day there are less people in the world than the day before.  In reality there are many more people in the world than this but for illustration: If one day there are 1000 people in the world and the next day 55 people die, now there are 945 people in the world. if 30 more die the next day now there are 915 people in the world. So we'll eventually become extinct as will all creatures as the same reality applies to dogs, cats, horses etc.

Great to see all 3 rats won in Rat Race, even though the car wasn't won.

Job well done from my perspective Adam. You have my thanks as well.

Season 44, here we come.

55in 3D 4K LED television with 2 pairs of 3D glasses

Wonder why the contestant chose that instead of the grill. 4K LED tvs are already up there and with the glasses and 3D, it would have been the one I would have avoided choosing.

I hope season 44 does well, and if a 45th is given it does equally as well.

I don't know how they managed to make Cover Up conflict with Do the Math, but somehow they did.

Was there a reason there weren't separate "(College) Back to School" and "Salute to Teachers" episodes?  Could it have had something to do with Drew's injury?  Or did somebody just decide that there were enough college students on regular episodes and didn't need to have one dedicated to them?
