Torgo has left the building. John and I never really cared for the way he presented himself.

Lucky Rat Race wins! 1st and 2nd! And she got the first rat offered; that doesn't happen often, to my knowledge.

I don't love the game (Time is Money) Drew, but I like it a lot. One reason: You can win an unusual amount of money, like $9,072. Another: you can hear the host exclaim such an unusual amount won (for example, "9,072!!"), sometimes more than once. :)

Because I was curious about the ice cream making machine featured in Rat Race, I looked it up on Cuisinart's web site.  I cannot figure out how the show came up with a price of $185 when Cuisinart's own website has it for $99.95.  I even went back to listen to the description to see if some supplies were included and that was not stated in the copy.  Any ideas?  I suppose between the taping day and now, it could have dropped almost 50% in price, but that seems unlikely...

I think the price on Cuisinart's website is the price they're selling it at and not their MSRP. Going to Amazon.com and viewing the list price of the machine shows that it is listed at $185. For some reason, Amazon is having trouble bringing up the actual page. I've linked to the search result page showing the same thing. Funny enough, god bless Amazon, they're selling it for only $69.99 to Cuisinart's $99.99.

Rather meh, but good show. It was nice to see someone play Time is Money at least somewhat competently and keep the two obvious anchor products where they belong (this time being the Ravioli and the Cascade).

It was nice however to end the show with a perfect half.

Me: Of all of the game shows you've hosted, besides Jeopardy!, like High Rollers or Classic Concentration, which is your favorite?
Alex Trebek: I'd have to say To Tell The Truth, because it was the first time in my career that I got to sit down while I was hosting.
