Associate Producer
« on: December 22, 2015, 11:01:34 AM »
After a bit of discussion, I would officially like to welcome Global Moderators, Prizes, CU, Steve Gavazzi, and Alfonzo - four of the site's most dedicated moderators - to the role of Associate Producer, both in recognition of their dutiful work in maintaining site order, and in order to further their role by giving them the tools needed to deal with spammers and trolls when myself, Marc, and John are not able to be present.

By and large the function is the same as their current statuses now as mega-moderators, but they now have global moderator powers in addition to being able to ban users causing issues.  Additionally, all four can now serve as points of contact for Chat issues as well as getting your TPiR Alumnus star!

Congratulations, you all! This is definitely a step in the right direction, and I know you all will do a fantastic job keeping things neat and tidy and around here! :)
Pardon my language, but I do believe we all need to calm the f*** down.

Hey, look, a banhammer.

Now to make sure I don't accidentally whack myself with it first.

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

I will use this ability I was given with great power and great responsibility.

Yes, I'm a Marvel geek.

Dunno how big of a geek you could be -- you've been given Thor's weapon, and you're quoting Spider-Man. ;)

Hey, Spidey's worthy of Mjolnir!!!

And to answer your question, I'm a HUGE Marvel geek, before it was even cool to be one!
