CSS Results for 01/11/2016 (Game 71)
« on: January 11, 2016, 12:27:30 PM »
Well, what an interesting day for me to start out with.

We take showcases granted to be at least 22k nowadays, 21 at the very least... so when one looks pretty cheap, we rationalize "hey, Washington is for 4 people, and wow there's Buenos Aires, ok I guess it will reach 22..." ... nope, we had our cheapest SC of the season so far today in 1 after all, and it claimed most of us.

For those who somehow survived 1, we then had a focus on options in SC2, but the Mazda didn't end up being that much more than usual, or the Kate Spade crap was cheap too.

This was the lowest combined ARP total of the season so far too, and it shows with a lot of pain on the board, including several bids within $25 of SC2 in either direction, but none of them ultimately scoring.

Hag comes through with his usual lowball bids, but it's not without a bit of pain - $11 from a hard/soft DSW. In a complete shocker, the other survivor was PriceFan. :P

I guess it's time to break out this....

All opinions expressed here are well-reasoned and insightful. Needless to say, they are not those of the Price is Right, or any organization for which I have worked for or will work for. Anyone who says otherwise is itching for a fight.

A part of me is actually glad that I got burned by the Fireball Special that was SC1.  It made my painful $14 :wsd: on SC2 completely meaningless.

Also, it doesn't really matter much, but wasn't the ARP for SC1 $20,561?
